I think the wildest thing about the TikTok Ban is that TikTok decided to adhere to it beyond the letter of the law.
They bent their knee willingly and gave up space and a platform they did not have to. They consciously decided to fuck over their user base when there was no valid reason for them to do so.
I've seen people talking about how you absolutely do not want to obey ahead of authority, and to see TikTok do it is... weird. It's unsettling. It feels like a dangerous stunt.
Specifically, it feels performative. It's got the marks of a Great Drama™, and given Trump's first 4 years and his absolutely bonkers love for theatrics over anything else, this just feels hollow. Like TikTok is trying to turn it's - generally younger - user base into "fans" of the republicans.
They can't really scoop up youths any other way, honestly. But using a big impactful story and putting Trump as the "hero" who saves their beloved platform.
It's not even the 20th and I just don't like how this new administration is starting. I do not like a private company complying beyond the letter of the law in advance of that law either. Because the only thing the law laid down was that they couldn't update the app on Apple and Google.
There wouldn't have been any fines or legal ramifications.
Thinking about Penguin and Shachi both desperately thirsty for you, and still being responsible during their work shifts.
Responsible enough, at least, to not get caught.
Efficiency was naught but a clumsy word until you saw them pulling extra minutes from the air as they worked with incredible focus. Of course they would, so motivated as they were. Every spare moment found was a heavenly hell for you.
Pinned to some surface, boiler suit at your waist, under shirt pulled up, bra pulled down if you even bothered to wear one. Two hungry mouths latched onto your nipples, licking and sucking until your legs squirming in the hopes for some friction for your dripping cunt.
And then it was back to work, they’d put your clothes right and zip you up and leave you flushed and flustered, only to find you twenty or thirty minutes later and do it all over again.
For the entire six hour shift.
So many times you nearly came and by the end you were whining for them to stop it, but your complaints were superficial, and all three of you knew it. You endured until all was done and they whisked you off to the noisiest part of the ship, where the submarine itself would devour your sweet cries before they traveled too far.
You were stripped bare this time, though all the two of them shed were their hats. Mouths between your legs, plunged deep into your ass and cunt, one set of hands spreading you open, the other teasing your chapped and throbbing nipples.
Like ravenous hunters they feasted on the sweet little shoal with the same sharp focus they’d used to torment you, ripping pleasure and control from you until you were a melted mess of tears and euphoria and exhaustion.
The piggyback ride to the bath only lulls you into a false sense of security. Once they have their sweet prey in the water, they’ll finish their feast, stuffing you full and properly.
Everything before was just whetting their appetites.
If Kid had the choice between the title pirate king or the wellbeing of Killer / his crew... which one would he choose? 🤔 Another question: how would you judge Kids eagerness compared to Luffys dream of being pirate king?
I think if Kid had to sacrifice his crew to becomes Pirate King he'd walk away from it and never look back. He's willing to risk it - because risk isn't set in stone, and being a pirate itself is risky - but if he knew for certain, he'd put his crew's safety first.
I think Luffy would be the same way. If something came before him and said the only way his dream could come true would be if his crew died, he'd step back too. It doesn't matter how much better the world would be.
As for the second part, I've said before that I think Kid and Luffy are VERY similar. The tenacity, desire, drive - I imagine there's even overlap on their reasons for it - it's all very similar.
They have different personalities, and if Kid had had a couple mentors the way Luffy did I think he'd be more than a (friendly) rival - I think he'd be effectively a threat to Luffy's goal.
The Kid we have now hasn't shown any signs that he knows he has conqueror's haki, or how to use it. This isn't surprising, Luffy didn't know, Ace eventually learned he had it (probably thanks to the WBP) but we also don't see him use it to full effect. Zoro doesn't know he has it either.
(randomly, can we talk about how Big Mom had 80+ kids, and ONLY Katakuri has Conqueror's? Whew.)
And yeah, Kid doesn't have the Will of D either (maybe? You know, Law says something about having him parents tell him that was his name and to keep it secret, so - and I'm not saying this has any weight - but I don't think it's impossible for Kid. I doubt it though, much as I love him, he and Law were set as literary foils to Luffy - Law has the Will, but no conqueror's, Kid has conqueror's, but not the Will.)
And look, Kid's been a menace just with what he has had available to him. I've said it before, but that confidence only looks "empty" because this isn't Kid's Story. Luffy has the same confidence, and often times even similar arrogance and views as Kid, he's just a different person so they come across differently.
a thought: blorbo(s) of your choice waking up after spending the night at reader's place for the first time and find themself snuggling one of reader's stuffed animals after reader got up first... and reader teases them :)
Ooooh >.>
xD
Shanks pouts and hugs your stuffy closer. He declares that he and Hernando Rutherford Cottonbottom the twelfth are the sole kings of the realm of Sheets, and you need THEIR permission to enter.
Marco was awake first, opting to relax in bed when you got up and asserts he snuggled the stuffy because it's soft, small, and cute just like you. It's a shame the squeaker is broken, but he knows yours still works, as he pulls you back into bed and proves it.
Sabo asserts he was simply asking the doll for intel on you. How else is he going to get the best gift for you without asking those closes to you? Then it becomes a small game of keep away as he suggests interrogation techniques. Of course it's just to get you tangled back up with him.
Eustass Kid says you're hardly bigger than the stuffy anyway, how can you blame him. It doesn't take long before he's caged over you, assuring you that you're his favorite toy, if nothing else.
Sir Crocodile hardly plays along with you at all, using his sand to pull you back into bed where he wants you, but a week later you've got ten times as many stuffies, and boxes of tailored outfits for them. He even offers to have someone restore your favorite one, if you'd like.
Thatch asserts that he and Reginald Pennyworth Helmsward Papadopoulos the third are very close friends, and Reggie has an incredible recipe for spinach puffs. but he won't share that recipe without proper cuddles, so you'll need to come back to bed for a little bit.
Okay, so first thing: there is no “right” way to write an orgasm. How you feel, physically and emotionally, is super variable from one person to the next. If you've been writing orgasms based on your own experience, none of this is intended to invalidate that 🥰
And, honestly, things can be different from one orgasm to the next for the same person.
I’m going to *assume* capacity to orgasm for each of these tips, but please know that what works for one person might be either frustrating or painful for someone else. If you can’t cum the way I describe you’re not broken - if you can’t cum any of the ways I describe you’re still not broken. There’s a lot of variables involved and you may need mechanical, medical, or emotional assistance to overcome whatever those are.
This is intended to help people put some variety into their writing regarding orgasms, it's not intended as professional physiological or psychological assistance. It's also not meant to say that these are the only ways you can write orgasms.
Orgasms are going to be different for the same person dependent on how and what is being stimulated. This is just to help you break away from feeling like you write them the same way.
Some basics about Orgasms that might be useful to keep in mind:
Orgasms are kind of violent from a purely medical stand point. Your muscles contract and there's a flood of chemicals in your brain and body. Your heart rate increases and blood races through your body, there can be sweat, tears, and snot. Your anus contracts and your penis or vagina also contract.
It can be physically exhausting just to reach that peak sometimes.
How obvious or powerful these actions are can vary not just from person to person, but also from one orgasm to the next. Just because someone orgasms screaming one time, doesn't mean they didn't enjoy it when the orgasm quietly the next time.
Orgasm types to toss some variety in your writing:
#1 - The Wrecking Ball
We all love it, or love to hate it, depending.
This is the orgasm that SLAMS into you. Whether it came in from out of nowhere, or if the build was something you'd been working toward for paragraphs before now, the idea is that the pleasure hits HARD.
I love this type personally, and a few ways to make it hit well, and not just hard, is to focus on the physical and emotional aspects of the orgasm.
The way muscles tighten, tense, and flex. Fingers and toes curling and flexing interdependently of one another. The heat you feel in your chest that rushes into your face and makes you dizzy - whether your face turns red or not, the rush of blood will often feel warm. The warmth and rush of blood can make you feel dizzy, even if you're not struggling to breathe.
Any limbs not tied down, or held down are likely to flail, kicking, clawing, scratching. The elevated heart rate can feel like fear or anxiety and can be scary for whoever is experiencing the powerful orgasm. Crying can occur from that fear, or from the overwhelming loss of control.
It can also be an emotional reason.
But my point is, don't just talk about how it "slams into your/his/her/their/my body" - focus on the loss of fine motor control, the rush itself, the split second of fear as you're left wondering if you're going to orgasm or piss yourself. Get messy with it. You don't have to write someone experiencing incontinence, but the threat of it can add a layer to what's going on.
#2 - Inkblot
An orgasm that just kind of soaks into your muscles. Effectively the opposite of The Wrecking Ball.
It can be just as overwhelming, and it can last an uncomfortably long time, but the main differences between the Wrecking Ball and the Inkblot is that you're not going to have the limb flailing concerns going on. The elevated heart rate floods a warmth through your entire body, and the lack of uncontrollable tensions means you can really feel it.
Sometimes this can be a sensation that precedes another kind of orgasm and you'll swear you came twice. Not back to back, but literally stacked on top of one another. It's rare, and it's easy to ruin because it can feel like Way Too Much.
But when you're describing this kind of orgasm you want to focus on how it soaks through your body. Often starting from your groin up your torso and down your legs, a soft, shivering pleasure that doesn't make your throat tighten, and maybe makes you whimper and sob because it almost feels like you're slowly drowning.
Getting hit with an orgasm out of nowhere makes it difficult to fight it, but when you feel it building, building, building, slowly and softly without end, and you reach that peak at steady rate, it leaves you PLENTY of time to wonder when the proverbial damn is going to break.
And instead of a break, sometimes it's just this soft, satisfying, relief as the sensation spills over.
#3 - Long Lasting
A six second orgasm can be a bit terrifying because you aren't sure you're ever going to stop cumming.
Time gets a little wonky when you're in the throes of euphoria. Depending on the situation, you can get lost in the moment enough that you can lose full hours of time and not even realize it.
Six seconds doesn't sound like a lot of time, until you're three seconds into an intense orgasm and a little worried your gonna blackout because it's all so intense. When you finally come down from it don't be surprised to find yourself soaking in sweat and shivering.
Because, as stated at the start of this, orgasms are Physically INTENSE, and that's a small part of why they usually only last a second or two, and a far more common occurrence than a Really Long Orgasm, are back to back ones, but we'll get there in a moment.
When writing these kinds of orgasms, it's alright to exaggerate, especially if you're writing from a specific perspective, and can lean into the time-distortion that tends to happen. Really get into the details of the pounding heart beat, the exhaustion in limbs that are still flexing and contracting. The way that each breath feels like drawing in water because everything feels that heavy.
The background terror/fear about how it's not ending, how intense everything is. If their partner isn't staying still through it, then it's all the more intense with the continued stimulation. Overwhelming and euphoric, there's not going to be much pep in their step for a few long minutes afterward at least.
#4 - The Ghost
It feel like you came, and you're definitely enjoying the sweet sense of afterglow, but there wasn't really any obvious sensation of orgasm.
The Inkblot style orgasm is notorious for turning into The Ghost - where your orgasm is so soft, so gentle, so completely without a rush or thrill or punch, that you're almost not sure you did orgasm. Except there's still a sense of relief that sinks into you.
The point is, there's a dopamine release, along with probably a dozen other chemicals, and you get that relaxing sensation. You've orgasmed, just without the physically violent part of the process. Something in the lead up had you relaxed enough - or exhausted enough - your body couldn't even force you to tense and flex. Fluids were released, chemicals submitted, but you didn't get that kind of
Snap, or crack, or click where you know you reached your orgasmic goal.
I love/hate The Ghost, because yeah, you get what you were going for, but it never feels as fun to me. Your mileage may vary, and you can write your character's dislike or love of this type of orgasm however you want. The other small downside is, if there's other stuff going on - kinky stuff, or any distraction really - you might even miss the fact that you got relief.
You'll just be there, realizing that you're coming down from a high, and not entirely sure if it was because you didn't orgasm, or because you did and didn't notice.
#5 - The back to back (to back)
An orgasm on the heels of another can be like touching heaven for some, and absolutely terrifying for others.
Back to back orgasms can be two or more orgasms separated by 10 seconds to a minute. I'm sure the gap can be a little longer for some, but most bodies will be moving into Post Nut Clarity after a minute and need to warm back up to an orgasm from square one-ish.
Riding the first rush often means facing overstimulation, and for some people that can be painful. For others it's just a continuation of a different kind of intensity, and it can be difficult to separate what's the First Wave, vs when that second orgasm finally hits. For others still it can be an immediate drop after that first orgasm and it's just that the second orgasm comes in out of seemingly nowhere.
I think these are fun to write, personally, and it's not just something you experience when you have a vagina. Plenty of penises (penii? I mean, it's not penii but I kind of want it to be) stay hard after ejaculation, and plenty more maintain enough length and firmness to keep things going. Sex isn't really all that different from one person to the next, frankly, don't over think it.
When writing this you can toss in pain, or not.
You can toss in confusion - delirious from euphoria and unsure what's going on until that inevitable "oh god I'm gonna cum again!" hits.
You can toss in incoherent babbling, sweating, tears, sobbing because you just don't have the brain to do anything else.
With fantasy you can chain link all the Big O's you want to, but I haven't really known anyone to make it past three as a general rule. It's not impossible, but your body is really fucking tired and the overstim starts to hurt even for the most tested of genitalia. Even your brain, and all it's Orgasm Granting Chemicals, is going to need a couple minutes before it can go again.
There's no real hard fast rule for how many times you can orgasm in a 24 hour period, but it IS a physical thing. Either your body's going to shut down and pass out, or your heart's gonna pop, but where that limit is, is person to person. (3-5 a day is good for cardiovascular health though >.> )
#6 - Painful Orgasms
It hurts like hell, the lead up, and the peak, but there's still satisfaction on the back-end because your body releases even more endorphins than it usually does.
For some people an orgasm is always painful. For some people vibrators and such are too powerful and instead of being pleasurable are so intense they're painful.
When writing painful orgasms, you want to give ample focus on the pain. Is it there because the person is injured, or is it just an unfortunate condition they have? Is it painful because it's orgasm X in Y hours and they're simply exhausted and overstimulated?
Is it painful because they're being forced to orgasm through electro-stimulation or some other controlled pain?
With painful orgasms in stories, you wanna hold up the discomfort over the pleasure, and the pleasure that does happen should almost be frustrating. Anger that it took pain to get your body to orgasm, a terrified relief that the orgasm still feels good, but knowing the ordeal isn't over yet.
And you'll want to decide too if the orgasm itself is the source of the pain. So it's not that the build up is painful and scary, it's knowing that the build up is sweet and pleasurable but that orgasm is going to hurt like hell.
An inevitable pain at the end of a nearly euphoric rise.

Questions, concerns, comments - maybe you'd like me to speak on an orgasm you don't think fits what's listed here? Reblog, or leave a comment, or send me an ask \o/ I'm happy to talk shop and get more into the weeds if needed ^_^
Thinking about the first time canon Marco is going down on you, and you can’t help the nervous laugh.
“Is this safe?”
“What do you mean, pretty bird?”
“I’ve watched you bite through pineapple rinds like cotton candy.” You admit timidly, only to watch him as he opens his mouth wide, like he’s going to just take an actual bite out of you after all.
Instead, he sticks his tongue out and you watch as it transforms, elongating and coiling with a control that wraps right around your sudden, desperate, need.
Fun fact: you can apply those to fight scenes too.
Position is pretty straightforward - who’s on top, who is on the bottom, who’s penetrating who if penetration is happening. Is a leg lifted, tied, pushed back? Is someone’s hand pressing against someone’s sweaty skin?
Motion can be pretty cut and dry too - hands sliding over skin, fingers caressing, lips kissing, changing from one position to the next. How fast is the thrust, how much impact is behind a strike? Is it a bruising pace, or is it languid?
Emotion can take the same scene and change the tone. Are they both happy to be there? Is someone not as into it? Is there so much tangled up between them that it’s hard to clearly comprehend other aspects?
Sensation - is the kiss wet, soft, rough, dry? Are hands soft or calloused? Are the position changes taken with care or does the rough bite of stone beneath them scrape their skin?
Mixing these up can help you avoid a sense of repetition while you’re writing any dynamic scene. But also omitting one entirely can impact how the scene reads as well. (Ah when I say omitting, I don’t mean you must avoid it 100% - though you can, but just leaning back is enough)
Omitting position, and leaning on sensation and emotion can provide a chaotic, harried, almost desperate feeling. It doesn’t matter WHERE the hands are, so long as they’re gripping the other person. It doesn’t matter if someone is screaming into the bedding, just that they’re cumming so hard they’re screaming.
Omitting motion can leave the scene feeling disconnected. It’s good for if your perspective is coming from someone who is drugged, or exhausted or otherwise disoriented. The sensations might be making it through, but their too addled to understand what’s causing them.
Omitting emotion can leave the whole scene feeling disconnected. Performative. Business over love. An obligation. Not necessarily unwanted - noncon is most certainly emotionally charged - but omitting the emotions vs describing them as neutral helps it hit better imo. (Emotional disconnect can also be used to show defeat, acquiescence, etc. you gave in and just don’t care anymore).
Omitting Sensation might be because of drugs, exhaustion, over-stimulated so hard you’ve shorted out, or you’re just not feeling it. Not in the mood. Sometimes even when you’re looking forward to intimacy you can just kind of, not feel it. That frustration can move a story along if you’re getting stuck.
