I was looking at your drawing of Quinlan/Logan stare down (very cool btw!) and I’m curious if…Quinlan has a crush on him too? (Like some of us did during that scene)

lol oh noo. He does not like him AT ALL. Not even a little bit.

Does he eventually warm up to him? Also no.

With Sandrock saved and booming again, what has Quin been doing? Did he stay in Sandrock or has he moved on to new adventures?

In preparation for the Summit, Quin does some deep thinking and a little wandering around the desert…while thinking. Summit day comes and he goes around having long chats with certain individuals (an especially long one with Avery).

He decided that after his builder contract with Sandrock has expired, he’ll move on. With some recommendations from his ma and Mali, he took an opportunity to try out for the Flying Pigs for a bit!

A few years in, he’s a shining member though he gets put with busy work pretty often. His latest job (given by Musa) is to supervise the area where the settlements in Evershine are being set up. He figures it’s a good chance to see how his friend is doing as a newly appointed Governor and…to see a certain someone again.

Was inspired by @tinycozyoasis ‘s post (made a while ago) and why not do one for Quinlan (also made a while ago lol):

♢ Shūmei Sasaki - Sasaki and Miyano : generally friendly and open to others, his appearance and demeanor misconceptualizes him as a shady individual. (Romantically) Is considerate, patient , and expressive towards his partner. Tends to be a little pushy with affection .

♦︎ Yor - Spy X Family : immense human physique, formidable combatant (especially hand to hand), keeps composure during combat, protective, has no problem defending his loved ones with violence, is trained in martial arts at an early age, sharp agility and reflexes.

♢ Tidus - Final Fantasy X : can be upbeat and playful despite a troubled past (and present shh), impressive athleticism, major Father issues from childhood to present

♦︎ Tartaglia - Genshin Impact: eager for a challenge, cunning, a finely honed weapon of war, mostly straightforward, enjoys simple things, his strength has gotten him ranked up quickly in several positions, pretty wealthy (on the down low) , underlying temper

♢ Tatsu - The Way of the Househusband : cares for certain people in his life and will go the extra step for them, eventually is skilled in cooking, cleaning and other homely responsibilities, very loyal and loving to partner , isn’t immune to being goofy at times

♦︎ Aloy - Horizon Zero Dawn : brave, determined, resourceful, side eyes the belief system (but at the same time try to be respectful and understanding of others),logical, intellectual, quick learner, is interested, knowledgeable and will make use of old world tech

Oo I’m interested in the story behind Quinlan becoming friends w/ the boxing Jack,rooster and Penskies? :O

lol OKAY SO, first with Bogan and the rocket rooster (whom we’ll just name Rocket ig) was a silly Kingdom Hearts parody I doodled here , I was leaning on it and decided yknow what it’ll be fun to keep them as the “Desert Rumble Trio” and have silly quests together. Same with the Penskies, just some fun monster npcs to play around with .

Not sure how im going to introduce them as friends yet but one day we’ll get there 👍🏼

Can I ask how Quinlan's parents met because I don't think they were ever in love with each other?

An interesting Q since I haven’t talked about them much, so thanks for the interest ;)

They were in love, at first, putting aside their political differences every now and then. His Pa (Duvosian) was a Duvos soldier and his Ma (Lucien) was a Flying Pig the time they met. They both happened to be patrolling one day, one fight led to another and they just hit it off from there (secretly).

A little after Quinlan was born, his pa became a little more aggressive and controlling over his future as he was quickly ranking up in the Duvos army, whom is now a fierce General. His Ma eventually joined as an agent in the Alliance, looking after Quin from afar. The two have since had this growing hatred for each other.

if it’s ok to share, what’s 3 fun facts about Quinlan? I’d love to know more about him

Hmmm top 3 I can think of right now that I haven’t said yet are:

-He was Musa’s personal bodyguard for about a year or so during his freelancing days (after Atara, before Sandrock)

-He has quite a few active hobbies but one of his favorites is Rock Climbing (and likes that Sandrock has many opportunities for this ;))

-He’s very kid friendly! (and a well recommended babysitter heh) Though he’s conflicted with the thought of having one himself, either alone or with a partner.
