So this is the first time I've ever been tagged in one of these things, and I was tagged by the lovely quipatiturvincit (and I am so sorry it took me ages to respond). Here goes.

Questions
1. Favourite period in history.
That would have to be either the Renaissance or the Age of Enlightenment.
2. What is your favourite passage in a work of literature?
My favorite passage is from the book Lolita, which should come with a massive trigger warning but is so beautifully written. "When I try to analyze my own cravings, motives, actions and so forth, I surrender to a sort of retrospective imagination which feeds the analytic faculty with boundless alternatives and which causes each visualized route to fork and re-fork without end in the maddeningly complex prospect of my past."
3. If you could pick one form of artistic expression, which one would it be?
Singing, definitely.
4. What is, to you, the most important quality in other people?
Honesty and humility. I think we live in a world where so many people are hypocritical and back-stabbing, and I value honesty above all else.
5. What country would you want to live in and why?
I would love to live in Italy, because not only is the food excellent but it's such a beautiful place.
6. Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
Working on my master's degree!
7. If money weren’t an issue, how would you live your life?
I would love to travel the world. See as many different places as I could, get to know other cultures, and get to know the world I live in.
8. What’s your ideal summer vacation?
I love Cancun, so it would be a tie between a couple of weeks there or traveling around Europe.
9. How would you describe yourself in 2 sentences?
I'm a person who likes to think she's got her life together, but is actually still discovering what it means to stand on her own two feet. I would also never turn my back on someone, whether person, dog, cat, etc., who needed my help, because I firmly believe in making a difference in the world, no matter how small.
