It seems to me that art is fueled by the passion to ask...to wonder... to question. Artists are always pushing the edges of what they know to see what is possible. 🌀 That takes a curious mind and one open to bold leaps and seemingly impossible connections. ❓ Those impossible connections tend to be the most fun. 🌀 To me art is that spiritual connection that is a loop of asking and receiving. My job is to keep asking and keep being open to the inspiration that comes in unexpected ways. 🌀 Yesterday I listened for answers and went for my walk in a space I hadn’t been to for decades. It was the park I took my children to when they were very small. As I enjoyed the beauty of this space I found some rose shaped seed pods and realized they were just what I needed for my display installation at Richmond Library. I hadn’t consciously asked but had pondered this internally and an unexpected answer came in a lovely way. 🌀 Sometimes it means that we need to trust the answer will come even if we are unsure of the question. 🌀 What questions are you seeking answers to? Is art still a question in your life or is it something you do regularly... a passion or part of your spiritual practice?
