𝐓𝐎   𝐒𝐀𝐘   𝐏𝐇𝐈𝐋𝐎𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐀   𝐖𝐀𝐒   𝐁𝐔𝐙𝐙𝐈𝐍𝐆   𝐖𝐈𝐓𝐇   𝐄𝐗𝐂𝐈𝐓𝐄𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐓   would   be   somewhat   of   an   understatement.   truthfully,   there   was   no   proper   reasoning   behind   their   decision   to   join   the   danceathon,   having   both   the   night   off   from   work   and   an   affinity   for   anything   related   to   the   banshees.   still,   with   work   and   life,   they   hadn't   really   had   time   to   look   for   a   partner,   thus   leading   to   them   having   to   have   one   randomly   assigned.

searching   the   crowd   for   their   dance   partner   was   easy   enough,   taking   a   deep   breath   and   approaching   him   with   a   small   smile   on   their   face.   philomena   tapped   his   shoulder   once,   and   then,   "   oliver   wood?   philomena   padgett,   we've   been   partnered   up   for   the   danceathon   ?   "

Would she beat herself up in the morning? Yes. That was without question. She wasn’t sure how she gave into the peer pressure to do it from a group of former classmates and quidditch players. Angelina had always been someone to stand firm on her beliefs but maybe it was the fact that she had slowly been cracking already. Craving it again. She had been doing everything to keep herself entertained and busy to keep her mind off of the feeling but all she wanted to be lately was numb. Just one drink. No harm in that, right? She used to be a heavy drinker so she figures that no harm, no foul. She feels fine-- more than fine, great, actually. 

Angelina had decided to walk around the maze in the building that they had set up. She walked out of the room with mirrors and was laughing at herself at how often she had ended up bumping into herself on the attempt to get out. She felt light again. Like the weight had been lifted off her shoulders at least for that moment. She walked out of the room and bumped into someone, the giggles still spilling from her lips as she looked up to lock eyes with Oliver. “Ollie!” She said with a grin, a nickname she only ever called them when they were alone. She eyed him a second, “Are you an angel? Well, whatever it is you are.. you look good. Really good.” Angie’s eyes widened a second. She used to have a mini crush on him when she was younger but that was something that she hadn’t even told Alicia and she had never really spoken to him like that. She cleared her throat, “Anyways-- um, are you going into this room? It’s kinda lame.” She tried to switch topics.

“don’t tell my sister i said this,” a PROMISING start, conspiratorial over the lip of a mug of ale with a bright smile building at the corners of his lips, “but i’m sorry it wasn’t you out there; seeing you play is always the best.” of COURSE charlie is riding high on ginny’s win - how could he not be, seeing baby sister flying through the air so impressively? - but there’s a soft spot at the center of their chest for oliver. maybe it’s being his FORMER CAPTAIN that first put it there, but shared drinks and shared laughs solidified it into something more than that. “owl me soon as you have word about your next game, yeah? i’ll be there.” @qviddiitch​

    A cool wind whipped around fleur, causing her to tighten her coat and scarf around herself as she wandered through the mobs of spectators decked in green or orange. Moving swiftly, she weaved through the crowd, her small frame allowing her to do so without much difficulty until she bumped into someone. “Oh, mon dieu! I’m so sorry,” she looked up to continue her apology, recognizing the face above her, “Oh, Oliver! Are you alright?”
