I think denji would have such a hard time talking about makima to nayuta, especially if shes ever like "what was mama like" and denji has to try and balance the truth with whats acceptable to tell a child and settles on "she was pretty tough"

i keep thinkin of a scene where theyre watching like. sitcoms n shit together n nayuta is prompted to ask if she even has a mother and denji blurts out makima n when nayuta enquires more he just sort of rambles about the minutia like ud describe a celeb u didnt rlly know: she was pretty n not that tall n her hair was a different colour like reddish but it just gets harder until he just stops cuz he cant think of anything else thats like harmless n not an outright lie cuz he cant say she was nice to him cuz that was at first n even then was that niceness was any of it nice when it all came to that n he’d start thinkin about how much he doesnt even know what to think of makima even now n then he’s thinking about how he doesnt want to hurt nayuta when she’s so young and he doesnt even know “what [makima] was like” truthfully? so what else is there except their last battle n how hard that was... also the fact he never knew much of his OWN ma except how she died so in the end most he can say is...yeah... “she was pretty tough...”
....like god im on my knees i want a makima mention in p2 so bad like i need just one scene of denji trynin to relate his past to nayuta no matter how successful it ends up...
