Oc Tag Game
I was tagged by @avatarwriting I'm doing this for my wip @queensxguard!
Rules: Share your inspiration for your character names and tag some other writers!
Isaiah Kalani: Isaiah's name is easy. I loved it and i really wanted to name someone Isaiah. Kalani is a Hawaiian name because the face claim for Isaiah is Jason Momoa.
Mukandi Otieno: Mukandi means dancer referenceing the way she fights! It's a Kenyan name. Otieno is also Kenyan but I forgot to write down the meaning. She's technically royalty so I wanted something that sounded stern and, well, royal.
Aditi Mangal: Aditi means freedom and boundless which I liked since she's the most powerful person in this universe though no one quite knows it yet.
Crevan Gallagher: Crevan means fox which while on the nose is such a cool name. He's a mixed race kitsune which is where his father earned the last name Gallagher (meaning love of foreigners) because his dad's people are kinda racist.
Gin Hashimoto: Gin's name had to be unisex because they're genderless. The name means silver and I think its rather elegant which fits the character well. Hashimoto means bridge which is the name given to them when their political marriage is arranged.
Galal Babiker: Galal is not his original name but its the only one he acknowledges now. It means belonging to crowned heads for a reason thats spoiler- y. I just liked the sound of Babiker but it means first born.
Sylvi Harkness: Sylvi means from the house of strength. She's a hot headed foot soldier so I figured it fit. Harkness sounded cool so I went with that.
