Hey Hi Hello! Hope you're good. If i could i could talk to you about your fic all day. What is something you look forward to showing us? Or what is a scene you are excited to happen?

This is a tough question to answer because there’s so much that I’ve been looking forward to for years.

One thing I will say since I’ve already shown the very beginning of the relationship is that I am really excited about the development of Azula and Kiyi’s relationship. Part of the reason for that is because I know a lot of people don’t like the character (for good reason), so I’m curious to see if my take on the character can change any minds by the end. If not it’s ok because I really am very attached to my own version of her and her relationship with Azula as it’s mapped out. And I will say too that it might not develop in a way that people expect, but it’s a way that I find meaningful.

In terms of a specific scene in excited about, I will just say since it’s narratively quite close to fruition that Azula crossing paths with June is something I’m looking forward to because it’s just a lot of fun (I’m assuming everyone already figured that June is in fact going to run into Azula… Zuko’s harping on the do not engage directive was probably a pretty big clue that the exact opposite would happen, yeah? 😅).

And I’ll add since I’m in a spoilery mood, Azula’s going to take June’s presence as not just a threat to herself but also a threat to Iriya. Feel free to imagine how Azula will respond to a perceived threat to Iriya 😊

Hello sorry to bother you, but do you know about a Galinda gif of when she wakes up after the Lion cub scene and looks around her and notices both Fiyero amd Elphaba gone along with the empty cage?

I noticed an inconsistency with Abominations. When in the Brawl and Eclipse Lake Amity had her vial of Abomination goo. But in school and even Covention and Grom she didn't need one to make Abominations. Is it only for the Asthetic or do Abominations like live in the ground in certain places?

The thing about the Abominations Magic is that it's fairly unique when compared with the other tracks, because of the Abominations' own versatile nature. Abominations Magic isn’t only controlling the creature, it’s making the creature as well, shifting and maneuvering it to fit your current needs. 

How tall does the creature need to be? What does it need to do? Where does it need to be summoned in a fight? These are all questions the summoner has to have answers for before they even summon it! 

So the pouch is an assisting tool---a way to make it that much easier to get the stuff she needs on-hand and out into the open quickly. She doesn’t need it, per say, but having it full of unshaped Abominations goo gives her a headstart if she needs to think and act fast. That’s why her magic has clearly gotten more fluid over time; she’s not only following the expectations of what Abominations are, she’s developing her very own style for it. 

It's not that Abominations live in the ground, it's that she’s purposefully making them pop out of wherever she needs them to, which, I feel, is a very stylistic choice on her part, and it’s something she’s been doing since season one. She probably doesn’t have the pouch while at school, and maybe didn’t even have it at all yet in season one, but whenever she’s going somewhere that she knows there’s going to be a chance of fighting - the Brawl and Eclipse Lake - she brings it along with her because it’s helpful.

You know Azula and Hunter have some things in common. The whole they think they're doing the best for their country/world and are loyal and love a parental figure that doesn't deserve it who absolutely does not accept failure. Can be manipulative and also the whole prodigy thing.

...Also, their parental figure is hellbent on genocide.

It's never a bother! I wish I could help you out! I don't know why sugerquill has stopped functioning, but my guess would be that they stopped paying for the website?

Does anyone have any further information or where the above essay might be?

You know it's fascinating the ways Amity while she looks like her mom also takes after her dad (the eyes the hair the abominations)

I think it's really interesting that Edric and Emira take after Odalia in terms of craftiness and manipulative ability and she seems to be mostly unable to control them (they have their own track seperate from family, their own lives, aren't punished as often, etc), while Amity takes more of Alador in terms of personality (Not one for a bunch of small talk, inquisitive and smart, has a love for abominations, etc) and Odalia has her under her thumb for years. I can only imagine she's just more used to controlling that kind of energy.

If Noelle's latest art is anything to go by i find it a bit sad and something (cant put a word to it) that the one time the scars stick is when Catra didnt want to hurt her. (All those other time she was She-Ra and with She-Ra's healing they seemed to all go away)

Noelle’s approach to Adora and scars seems to be that Adora definitely has them, but they’ll go wherever Noelle feels like in the moment. Which I respect, and also personally take to mean Adora has ALL THE SCARS.

That said, for me and I’m sure for Adora and Catra too, it’s something of a relief that Adora’s body isn’t marked by Catra’s willful rage. Adora most probably has scars from when they were kids and Catra lashed out (the kind of thing we saw in 5x3), but that wasn’t remotely the same as the spiteful and malicious anger she acted with in, say, 1x13 when she ripped into She-Ra’s back. And the fact that she reserved that kind of physical viciousness for She-Ra’s body rather than Adora’s may have been a subconscious act of protection on Catra’s part.

I think Adora’s back (and presumably leg) scars that happened when Catra was brainwashed could be a difficult physical reminder in the sense that it was a very traumatic experience for both of them, but it’s also something that Catra doesn’t have to blame herself for, because she wasn’t in control and may not even have any memory of doing it. Which isn’t to say she won’t need to be talked out of feeling guilty, but I digress.

I did actually just start writing a fic on this topic today (also featuring Failsafe chest scar!), so my thoughts are still bubbling and forming but are not all the way there yet. I do have to warn you, it takes me an eternity to write fic, so I cannot tell you if and when this thing will see the light of day.
