reniiiii how do you feel about the 2000 days?! i'm so emo right now

i’m really emo too!! i teared up seeing all the posts celebrating them :’) but mostly i feel thankful and proud! in 2000 days so many things happened to them but the boys themselves have always been consistent. they didn’t need to change, it was just getting recognized for who they already are that sparked the nation + beyond falling so hard for them. i’m sad thinking about how many difficulties they faced, but beyond proud and grateful that they endured to be where they are now T__T i’m so grateful that they’re here.

okay so excluding min… (this is hard cuz i could ship all of them with him for dif reasons but;;;;)

@2hyeons ying is hella smart, hella hard-working, and hella kind so i’d ship her with someone who’s also sweet and respectful. somehow i think she takes it slow in relationships, so i think it’s good to have someone who’s respectful of that but also communicates well about what he wants? (’i really wanna kiss you right now, is that ok?’ type of thing) i think mature communication would be a big deal, but i also want her to be with someone who’s quite bright in personality so he can give her energy when she’s feeling stressed/tired. so i’d name jisung, sungwoon, or possibly ong.

@cafewoozi (hyuncakes) bonnie is really supportive – she’s the type of person to give you her full attention when you’re talking to her. she could never say anything mean and she seems to really like funny things, so i think ong or jihoon with their iconic jokes + bright smiles would match with her really well! she gives really good reactions so ong/jihoon would also feel very validated in their funniness and aegyo, and the relationship would be super healthy bc they would always speak kindly to each other even in arguments!

@emperorhwangs rui’s low-key savage and a babe so woojin or daniel…  they’d be the power couple that takes no shit from anyone but are also super hot and capable, so everyone wants to be them. rui’s also extremely funny and kinda self-condescending sometimes so since woojin and daniel are also quite kind, i think even if rui makes a self-condescending joke (e.g. ’i’m such trash’), they’d be like, ‘babe, no’ all serious and sit down with her and tell her why she’s perfect lol and i want her to be with someone who’ll consistently tell her why she’s amazing

@hwangminyeo abby is the sweetest and super friendly and often takes the lead, so i actually think she’d match really well with sungwoon lol but i also think she’d go well with daniel or bae jinyoung? daniel because i think she’d like to be with someone who’s very sweet but also manly, and he’d be the type to boast about her to his friends all the time in good ways (like posting to insta with a pic of the brownies she baked for him and being like ‘my gf’s brownies are the best’) and abby would be constantly embarrassed by how publicly he talks about loving her~ and jinyoung because he knew how it felt to lack confidence and i think he’d be the type to subtly hype up his girl >:)

@minhwangs sarah is the trashiest of all of us (rui’s v close though) and vocal about it too, but she’s paradoxically(?) super hot. so the fact she’s a visual goddess on the outside but extreme trash on the inside means she’s gotta find someone who’s also a hot dork. so i ship her with daniel or woojin! i think she’d like someone who’s more forward for some reason, like who does kabedons and talks kinda roughly lol so daniel or woojin can talk satoori at her and she’s be internally screaming every time. but she also has times where she’d just wanna thoughtfully talk about things happening in the world and i think both dan/woojin would be really open to deep convos

is there any particular reason you like minhyun the most?

lol don’t get me started…. in brief though, it’s because:

he has always supported the others in a gentle, subtle way, and is a behind the scenes kind of leader (e.g. “BCDF fighting!”)

his relationship with jonghyun is so healthy and wholesome. minhyun is jonghyun’s backbone and personal cheerleader

minhyun seems very prince-like but actually he’s a nagging mother who won’t shut up before bed

contrary to his social popularity, he’s a homebody and likes to be alone

his voice color

he’s not overly self-deprecating or overly arrogant; he’s comfortable with who he is. he makes a great role model for people

he’s a deep thinker, but he also playfully teases people he’s close to. i love the way he’ll sometimes respond in kind to dongho’s choding jokes

his way of speech is always pretty, and consistently demonstrates his thoughtfulness, perception, and respect towards other people (e.g. when sonagi team was picking between jaehwan and sungwoon, minhyun emphasized their different charms)

i’ll answer about why i ship each minbooties sinner with minhyun under the cut!

@2hyeons​ ying and minhyun are really similar, it’s probably why i like them both so much as human beings and want to protect them? they won’t complain but instead just endure… they are really loving. there have been a few times ying has reached out to me privately when i expressed feeling sad to check in, and i really appreciated that so much. and i imagine that’s how minhyun does it for jonghyun… i think ying and min are very similar in that they are genuinely kind-hearted, immediately likeable, and very warm-hearted. they are sincere and GOOD at what they do, but don’t brag about their achievements. they make you feel valued as a human being when they talk to you, so as a couple they’d be the pairing you wouldn’t mind third wheeling :)

@cafewoozi​ (hyuncakes) my impression of bonnie is that she’s really cheerful and positive! minhyun’s way of speech is really like… idk when it’s translated you miss a lot of the nuances T_T but it’s a really soft, pretty way of talking! and bonnie is kinda the equivalent in english – never says things critically, always kindly. they are also both the type to always acknowledge everyone in a group. like bonnie will always make effort to acknowledge something said even if it was hours ago lol because she really cares about everyone feeling valued. minhyun is also a behind-the-scenes kind of leader, like when jong was teaching hyunbin, minhyun is always next to him helping him. and that’s like the perfect example of how i see bonnie’s personality – quietly there, always supporting but never taking the spotlight.

@emperorhwangs​ rui is so, so funny but also like, aggressively affectionate?? she’s kind of like seonho LOLOL just shooting love beams everywhere and iconic no matter what she does. i think she’d bring a ton of excitement + love to minhyun, and he’d act annoyed with her but he actually really loves it. she’s also extremely supportive – i’d once talked about feeling stressed about something and she was like ‘I’M HERE’ and it’s like wow, how is she only 17?? she’s really mature & gives off these unnie vibes sometimes lol and this paradox of her being both lovey + mature matches with minhyun, who’s the squishy loving puppy in nu’est but acts as an admirable hyung in wanna one.

@hwangminyeo​ abby’s visuals and sweet personality go really well with minhyun. she acts like a leader for our gc (our sinner leader!) – even though i was the one who kind of suggested the gc, i didn’t want to handle the logistics bc im so bad at stuff like that >< but she was sooo enthusiastic and willing to do it! that shows how kind, thoughtful and CAPABLE she is. i don’t think she realizes how important she is for the gc and so many people here on tumblr, she’s a ray of sunshine everyday (her tags are hilarious and she always send people cute asks) and i think minhyun would really benefit from the constant, soft love she’s so full of! minhyun is also the quietly capable type (he doesn’t brag about how good at everything he is lol) and abby’s the same way – super amazing, super good personality, but doesn’t bring attention to herself at all.

@minhwangs​ sarah is the cutest little bean. ahhh okay so she’s just super, super funny and so open about worshipping the minbooty??? so i think her relationship with min would be like baekmin! min is known as the ‘baekho controller’ so i think he’d give sarah witty responses to all her funny antics. but sarah is also extremely thoughtful, even though at first you might think she’s just an energetic person. she’s quite mature and so i think at times when minhyun is having a hard time, she’d be able to give him real support by both making him laugh but also providing a lot of kind words and hugs. i think she’d be perceptive of how he’s feeling even when he’s trying to hide it and would respond appropriately and accordingly – like if he’s trying to hide his sadness, she’d point it out and emphasize he doesn’t have to hide it, and that she’s there for him?

ahahahah i feel like this turned into a love letter for each of the minbooties (hi bebs i love you all!) but anyway this is why i think they match with minhyun!!! :D

@minhyuun (my best friend on tumblr but also irl at this point lol IF YOU’RE READING THIS I LOVE YOU!!!) qiqi is sWERVING to kang daniel (how could you???? “WELCOME HOME CHEATER”) so i’m gonna ship her with him out of spite >:) she didn’t like abs but then she saw his abs and got thirsty (=__=;;) but also daniel is a friendly dude and he’d do the romantic stuff he talked about during happy together like “my friends had time but i only wanted to watch the movie with you….” which is so good and affirming for her!!! so he’d make her feel loved. too bad she has a bf though (and me) so he’s gotta get in line. but i actually do think daniel would be a good match for her in terms of how he could take care of her.

@extraongdinary leah my adorable bean is obviously shipped with ong. i know he’s her bias but he is for good reason! he’s funny, but he has a good sense of the atmosphere too – e.g. he uses his humor to release tension (like during ‘get ugly’) and he’s a clever guy. i think he’d really dote on leah and take her on casual but thoughtful dates – like going on walks to memorable spots for the two of them, or taking her on a night drive bc he just wants to talk to her. he’d also buy her really expensive gifts and would lie to her saying they weren’t expensive;;;;; if you’re familiar with that prank cam of the girlfriend who pretended to break her boyfriend’s beloved camera (here), this is how i imagine their relationship in a nutshell.

@oneminhyun hari definitely with jonghyun ㅠㅠㅠㅠ he’s so kind and he’d take care of her so well! they’d be the cutest little sweethearts together, always shy, taking months to even start holding hands… but suuuuuper sweet and really affectionate for each other in their hearts. and they would smile at each other when they think the other person isn’t looking, but they actually do know that the other is shooting secret loving smiles, and feel even more in love >:) also they would come up with the dorkiest nicknames for each other and keep giving each other little unnecessary gifts (”i saw this blue keychain and got it bc you like blue”) and texting each other good morning and good night every day;;;;;
