I saw this video about three years ago about the 'Amen Break' and how that one drum break has basically permeated all levels of popular music and culture. It can be heard everywhere from NWA's 'Straight Outta Compton' to the theme to AMC's Mad Men, 'A Beautiful Mine by R2DJ.
