I find it strangely interesting comparing Dobe feet to Siberian feet. they have such different feetsies!
They do!
So, true story, if I thought I was smarter I would likely have gone into a field where all I do is learn about how the different parts of an animal apply to the whole of how they do their job or appointed niche in the ecosystem. A few of my more scientifically minded friends have heard me babble for literal hours (sorry guys) about the minute differences in snake heads or dog torsos and how it tells us so much about what the animal was meant to do.
It’s all so fascinating to me! I blame the artist in me but I’m just so drawn to the various differences in structure and how it shows in the use of the dog differs from one breed to another.
It’s also why I always say that bad conformation for one breed is not necessarily bad structure overall. Sometimes you have to look at the sum, not the individual parts.
