Alright this was real hard to capture because of angles and cell phone camera. But in the pic on the right you can kinda make out the hole in the skylight (the height isn't really captured, but that's about 10 feet up), and on the left that's the light fixture where a mystery critter may or may not have crashed through.
I have not yet been able to confirm the presence of mystery critter. Might have just been wind, sucking up the shaft through the hole and breaking the light fixture panel. But it's very suspicious!
So far, I have not woken up with a new squirrel friend cuddled up beside me, but I will let you know how it goes.
