          ‘easy, kid. keep your finger off that TRIGGER unless you actually plan on shooting.’ up until that comment, one could mistake the sniper for being fast asleep, but he tipped his head up last second, moving his hand to grip the gun and turn it towards the ground. ‘that’s how you SHOOT someone’s eye out.’

           ‘let me guess, sugar. it’s not working out with the COWGIRL.’ that was one of the bigger examples of why he would come all the way out here without making a SCENE out of it. and it only disgusted her-- she wasn’t his confidant and he had made it very clear that now that with his meteoric rise to the top of hyperion, she was below him. moxxi was only thankful she hadn’t wiped off her make-up yet, given it would only have made her GLOWERING look more severe. ‘why are you here, jack?’ her accent was more noticeable and she hated it, but she had a feeling it would only get WORSE.

          it took her biting her TONGUE not to mention that he seemed pretty touchy with his mother, but she didn’t. after witnessing some of it, azumi could imagine he didn’t want to REMEMBER much of it. she continued to hold him, stroking the back of his back. truthfully, she hadn’t hugged anyone in a long time either ( at least not since they were together and even then. ) but after what they’d been through, it felt RIGHT. ‘has it been that long?’
