Sebastian my beloved storm chaser with Mark as like a weather man.
“Let’s go live to Sebastian who is currently on the ground. Sebastian, how is it looking?”
“HI MARK! AS YOU CAN SEE, THIS STORM IS NO JOKE! I’VE SEEN THIS THING FLING TREES AND ITS LOOKING LIKE TOTAL DESTRUCTION! JENSON IS GONNA TRY TO GET US CLOSER FOR A BETTER PICTURE, BUT THIS THING IS NO JOKE!”
“… thank you Sebastian. Please stay safe.”
“NO PROMISES! BACK TO YOU!”
(But replace Americans with Seb and Jenson)
Also somehow Mark is the only one that somehow ends up always getting in the middle of the storm. He’s got a knack for being flung upside down.
Since people seem to really like the storm chaser au for sebmark, I come bearing more headcanons and good news.
1) I have started a fic for it! Hooray! It’s going to be called “On the Topic of the Enhanced Fujita Scale” (title is subject to change if I come up with something better okay) and hopefully if I lock in, I’ll post the first chapter soon ish
2) idk au information time. It’s long, so I’m cutting it here but read more for cool au stuff!!! Yeah!!!
Okay so the storm chaser pack consists of like 4 people I would think.
Seb is the main YAPPER. Hes the data guy and main like describing guy. He entertains the viewers when nothing is happening (they do independent storm chasing apart from chasing for the news) and does most of the more intense radar reading and whatnot
Jenson is the driver. Him and Seb have known each other for ages and he’s the only person Seb trusts to drive. They used to do a lot of off-roading together as kids and started chasing together when they were younger with Seb being the map and radar guy and Jenson just sending it.
Kimi is their designated camera guy who comes in much later. He’s also the back up driver in case something were to happen to Jenson considering he has experience with Finnish rally and could hold his own. Quiet camera man who doesn’t say much. The viewers lose their minds when he talks
Finally, Fernando is the map guy. He’s got the experience to know routes and what does and doesn’t show up on gps. He’s saved their asses multiple times by knowing random backroads or paths that are unmarked. Kimi suggested him as a map guy and they don’t always get along, but he’s reliable which makes the bickering worth it.
I might talk about the news station crew later but idk how many characters I actually want in this little au 😅😅😅 id love to merge some current drivers in but that might be a separate thing
sebastian but I ignore him cheating through most of school and make him a special little gifted kid who bites his fingers when he screws things up because he’s not supposed to do that and mark who stares at him like the freak of nature he is bc jfc dude get it together you’re already doing better than other people, you aren’t going to get crucified for turning in your homework late once .
need to put all my circus experience to use and write about Sebastian doing pole and aerial silks. need him to try to teach Mark and lose it watching him try to do a singular climb. Mark trying to do a single inversion on a knot. Pure comedy. Mark getting better and being a base while Seb’s the flier yes please.
