no but we should talk about how everyone outside of anhe fears changhe and bc killing was survival for him (and his way to protect muyu), he prided himself in being so lethal. but then he meets hehuai and even when he's trying to kill her she never shows that fear. and then once they're on the same side she's constantly (rightfully tbh) chewing him out. like she's the first person outside of anhe who feels comfortable enough around him to treat him like a "normal" person.

today we are thinkin about how baby changhe was so devoted to muyu that he took his place as a lamp child and was ready to die for him and baby muyu was already unwilling to lose him and brought changhe back after he was left for dead

it's still saurrrrrr funny that changhe was like "there's no way su jinhui is going to win against mu ciling if he's mastered the hell palm. you'd know that if you looked at the manual." and then muyu is like "🤨🤨🤨 have you looked at the manual?" and changhe is like "haha no I'm just guessing" and then bam he's using hell palm level 8 less than 24 hours later LMFAO

it's soooooooooooooooooo frustrating seeing that the fandom consensus seems to be that changhe and hehuai's dynamic is completely platonic (albeit unsurprising when a lot of the same people deny that muyu and hehuai's dynamic is romantic) when changhe was only living at the apothecary for probably a few weeks and then hehuai is poisoned and he's talking about how he wants to stay in nan'an permanently. like ik I've said this before but muyu and changhe are quite literally trying to legitimize anhe in the final arc of the show bc they want to have their domestic life in nan'an *with hehuai*. also by the time they're back in tianqi, changhe's looking at her like this

but yeah it's completely platonic there's no romantic/sexual feelings there. ok.

shuhe not forgiving zi'ang to the point he wants to drink poison as revenge. but still loving zi'ang so much that he wants to spend his last days together. and he tells zi'ang that if he could go back to their time 5 years ago, he would still make the same choice. how am I supposed to recover from thisssssss

when changhe and muyu first bring zhaoyan to the apothecary, hehuai is said to be 30. in 1.02 the flashback of changhe having taken muyu's place as a lamp child is said to be 15 years ago and baby muyu and changhe still look pretty young so.... is hehuai older than them 👀👀👀
