Writing Rachel's Hope was...mehn, a challenge! So much expectation laid on one book to tie everything together, to bring out the love lessons, faith lessons, marriage lessons, and life lessons...and the drama! To make all the heartache and suspense of #RachelsDiary and #RachelsChoice worthwhile. Actually, when I finished Rachel's Diary, I had an idea, and I wrote out my outline for Rachel's Hope. I knew it was tentative but thought I could stick to it for the most part. Revisiting the story to write it, I had to write a lot more before I even began on my outline. And while I tried to let it guide me, the thing was like a straight jacket! My characters had their own lives to live and decisions to make, and well...one of them couldn't make up her mind 😁, so I had to throw the outline out... LET THE KIDS PLAY! And play they did. And God took control, as He always does...and the story ended up more beautiful than I outlined 😁 So, guys... Don't let your outline frustrate you... If it ain't working or your characters are looking like you like, WHAT?! best to give them room to flex 💃💃💃 If you feel me, hands up! 🖐🏽 I can't wait for you to read #RachelsHope 😊 #ChristianFiction #LoveandMarriage #RomanceBooks #TNWRH #TheNaiveWifeTrilogy #TheNaiveWifeRachelsHope #BooksByUfuomaee #ComingSoon https://www.instagram.com/p/CQiu2bcHCom/?utm_medium=tumblr
