Such a good review. Video by @ntanetwork Reposted from @aimeeslibrary Earlier this week, had the honor of reviewing The Naive Wife Trilogy, an amazing work or art by the delectable @Ufuomaee. I met Ufuoma in 2017, and have on two occasions, hosted her at our club hangouts and reviewed her books, The Church Girl and Broken. Needless to say that over the years, she has mastered her art and of course, her message. As you surf through her many literary works, you find the same recurring message - about faith, hope, family, relationships, choices, heartbreak, the forgiveness that is needed to mend the heart back in one piece and of course, that one thread binding it all together - Love. These new set of books, The Naive Wife - Rachel's Choice, Rachel's Diary & Rachel's Hope - have embedded in them many answered questions, thought provoking stories of people and experiences that we all can relate to, and that relatability, the insight that the author has garnered to be able to speak light to the dark embers of peoples hearts, makes her stand out exceptionally. The stories shared in these books had me guaging myself and my relationships, to see areas where I probably fall short. It's a counseling bundle all on its own, as it helps to dive into the intricacies of friendship, marriage, and bonding in relationships as a whole. The author's delivery, transitions, character development, choice of vocabulary and life lessons all intertwine to make an amazing work of art. As you read these books, you find that we all see and probably know a bit of Rachel, Ejike, Doug, Ihotu, Rochelle, Bose, Ifeoma, Isaiah and many others who form parts of our life's journey. You find that they probably are replicas of you. But as you journey through life and through Ufuoma's mind, I hope that you find, most importantly, that no matter the sizes of curve balls life throws at you, you are never alone and that God ALWAYS has a plan. And that, like Rachel, is our hope.
