@rachminuit re: sensitive skin! check your makeup's ingredients! certain dyes and fragrances can be super irritating. also, try using a calming/healing moisturizer or serum in those areas. (patch test it first.) look for shea butter, almond oil, aloe vera, marula oil, honey, "fragrance free", and/or chamomile. take a look at the ingredients in stuff you're already using, examine your diet and look for connections between food and being extra sensitive, and ask relatives if they have the same problem. skin is a funky mix of diet, topical applications, environment, and genetics. small anecdote about a similar thing i dealt with: skin is usually reactive/sensitive for a reason. i had horrible dermatitis (basically just a terrible rash) around my mouth (though it spread further each time it came back) on and off for like three or so years (dermatologist and allergist both couldn't figure it out) and i finally recently figured out it was caused by using the wrong type of cotton rounds to apply my toner. made sure to never use that kind again and now it stays gone.
