Nate & Molly for the Spell a name headcanon C:
also for @njadastonearm, @thelmis @venatohru @rad-puppeteer who asked for Molly! Thankyou!
Molly Gould
M: What is their favourite dessert?
Berries and cream! Any kind of berries but raspberries are her favourite! Molly and Nate would often go berry picking in the summer months - make a day/picnic of it and gourge themselves with the sweetest summer fruit!
O: What would it take to break them, inside and out?
More loss, when Nate is killed and Shaun is taken and a series of more heartache and loss send her to the brink. She’s on the verge of leaving the Minutemen, done with the responsibility, done with the decisions she’s had to make, and with MacCready in the Capital Wasteland and possibly dead, she’s had enough.
L: What is their favourite board game?
Cluedo. There is no doubt Molly loves a good Mystery.
Y: What is one question they’ve always wanted an answer to?
Has Shaun ever loved anyone, has anyone ever loved him? It’s something she’ll never receive.
G: How do they flirt?
Molly’s a bit clueless at overt flirting techniques; however, when she’s comfortable with someone and she sees that it might be reciprocated she’ll lightly touch their arm, give open mouth laughs, lick her lips a lot and flick her hair whilst staring directly into their eyes when they talk to her.
U: What’s their voice like?
Molly has a even toned but quiet voice. She raises it rarely, but in anger, she’ll shout but its no more than a storm in a teacup.
D: How they react to being flirted with?
Coy smiles, flushed cheeks, she touches her neck and clothing a lot in those circumstances. When she’s nervous she folds her hands over one another (and sometimes she can get nervous when being flirted with.)
Nate Carmichael
N: What do they usually eat for breakfast?
Toast and coffee usually, nothing fancy although when he was growing up his wealthy family would have an extravagant breatkfast every morning. As he tries to forget his upbringing he prefers a more simple morning meal.
A: What are/were this character’s best subjects in school?
Home Economics and sport. He wasn’t gifted academically but he makes a mean pasta sauce and can run pretty damn fast. He’s not a big guy, he’s quite compact and stocky, but he has a lot of stamina and dense muscle mass.
T: Where are they ticklish?
On his feet, although he prefers being the tickler rather than the ticklee
E: How are they with children?
Indifferent for the most part. His own childhood involved cold and distant parenting, so he’s not sure how to react to small children, although when Shaun comes along he warms up to the idea of being a stay at home father, mainly because Nora earns 3 times more than he ever could.
C: Can they swim well?
Yes! He spent time in his schools champion swim squad.
R: What are their hands like?
Soft, pre-war, this is man not used to physical labor (unless it involved going to the gym and working out)
M: What is their favourite dessert?
Nate is partial to creme bruleee, although not too sweet.
I: On a scale of 1 to 10, how much do they love themselves?
Although Nate is very selfish (which inevitably comes with a hint of narcissm) He has a lot of self-esteem issues. He doesn’t like himself very much, and likes to punish himself (or others to do it for him). so around 3-4
H: What is their deadly sin?
He’s promiscuous, and selfishly so. The most faithful he’d ever been was to Nora, and still he wasn’t good at that, although he never cheated he was often very flirtatious with people, mainly as he sought attention he never had as a child. Nora, being a successful lawyer from another prominent family (The Singhs of Boston) had a pre-nup that voided any claim to earnings from her post marriage should he cheat. The incentive to stay faithful, monetary as well as the fact he was crazy about her.
