i think plenty of women would do a sex strike right now if they werent afraid of being assaulted by their man, aka we need places for these women to go aka separa-
😂😂 I just want a country or a continent or why not the entire world where women can live free from male violence, free from men at all, living on a self sufficient womans land is the dream and nothing but a dream sadly. but we live in reality and have to make the best off what life has dealt us.
tho no womans land, no community can be truly self sufficient bc you’re always somewhat dependant on produce from the outside to some degree :/ life for example afaik even isolated communitys like the amish in america buy the seeds for their crops and stuff like that from outside of their enclosed communitys
so even if there was like an autonomous community for women only somewhere, we’d still had to deal with men at some point
Idk if I know any women who would participate in such a strike tbh tho to my perception the “feminist” women I know (irl mind you) wouldn’t participate, bc they think sexual liberation is the end all be all of feminism and they have a right to fuck men and that fucking men without marrying them or having children with them or doing domestic labour for them is the pinnacle of feminist activism bc you’re queering traditional gender roles or whatever (I’m in my mid 20s so most other women I know are pretty young, too, I’m sure this plays a role in this) so telling them they should go celibate would just make them think you’re a religious puritan extremist and misogynist trying to control womens sexuality
while the normie women I know don’t really think of themselves as opressed and would deem this as crazy and feminist extremist and unecessary
