I’m very glad I did. It doesn’t matter which side you put on, this record is on fire. Equal parts Rocket from the Crypt and Andrew WK, this band of Colorado parents play fuzz-soaked big riffs with plenty of rock and roll swagger. I want to be these guys when I’m older. They play shows for the same reason I did (pre-covid) - fun nights and a change of scenery. Fronted by basic cable’s @benroy00 and featuring some scene veterans, this record is straight up stupid fun. Album closer ‘I’m Sorry I’m Not Sorry’ waxes poetic about the future while leaving you wanting more. This might end up a GP Top 10 of 2020 record. The Greasy Pizzeria Punk Rock Vinyl Club. : : Pink Lincolns - “Suck & Bloat” reissued in 2018 by #RadGirlfriendRecords. ——————————————————— RGF-081 / Album / LP / Reissue : : Pink Lincoln’s third album Suck & Bloat got the reissue treatment from Rad Girlfriend. Chris Barrow’s and company created a timeless classic with this one, and RGF did a great job with the reissue. They play the AOD/RKL style of punk - snotty and obnoxious with weird guitar tone, cranked snare, and plenty of attitude. And holy crap, did Iggy Pop really draw that cover? Rad. I’ve been enjoying this record a lot, even if there’s some borderline questionable lyrics.
