So they catch that... The Gran Pulse woman had notice the quick glance Lighting gave to her weapon and clothes, but it alone didn’t give a reason to doubt her even still. “My clothes.. Actually.” It was a half lie, yet one they could believe with the blush Lightning had and how she cross her arms to cover her chest once the stranger set their eyes on her with a growing smirk.

“That’s cute.” Lighting wasn’t in mood for being downplayed as easy prey as she was hardly one of that nature. A soldier shouldn’t be taken so lightly, though she couldn’t blame the woman being something else as they had caught her out in the open like this. “Prove?” She ask. “Prove how?”

The answer came from the one who asked it as they remove their armor and clothing. Lightning watch them for a second, but then look away feeling embarrassed. She hadn’t expect anyone to be out here, Gran Pulse seem abandoned by the poeple, but here she was about to share a bath in a hot spring with a warrior of the opposite side. As they walk into the water Lightning move further away to make room and to swim closer to the side where her clothes and weapon were placed to have somewhat equal distance between her and her weapon as did the stranger with hers.

She felt somewhat shy in their presence.

Lightning took a deep breath and went under the surface again. The noises distort while she was submerged and the soldier couldn't hear the person approaching the hot spring in the middle of the forest.

She stayed under water for a long time, holding her breath and trying to train herself to stay underneath for a longer period of time. She had to do better to survive out here. Lightning had been sent to a reconnaissance mission to fly over the Gran Pulse, the world below her floating home of Cocoon, but the engine failure had brought her ship down. Now Lightning had to find a way off the hostile wilderness.

"HAh.. ah.. ah.." Gasping and panting she came back to the surface after three minutes. Lighting's gaze met with a woman's, their skin dark and ears long like a rabbit's, who had a body of a warrior. They stare at each other as Lightning froze, warm color taking over her cheeks as she was seen naked waist up by the strange woman, who was armed unlike the woman bathing in the forest spring. Just for a second Lighting's eyes avert theirs to judge the distance to tree on which roots she had left her clothes and weaponry, but it was too far to make it in time before the Gran Pulse woman would reach her.

"...I mean you no harm." It was a lie since the Cocoon and the Gran Pulse were at forever war, but Lightning had to buy time to reach her weapon or avoid the battle by talking.

It was quiet... There was no sound of cars, people or wildlife. The hot spring near the local garrison on the snowy mountains was secluded and only a few knew of it. The spring was right at the edge of the restricted military zone so there was no civilians to speak of even if it wasn't a forbidden area.

Lightning watch the 'stars' in the sky, feeling the cool air against her naked skin above the contrasting hot water she was in. It would cause a dizzying feeling and serenity after a while and it was the one Lightning wish to experience. Closing her eyes she forgot herself and lost the sense of time on purpose.. At first she didn't even register the sound of someone approaching them, but once the footsteps were only a few feet away did Lightning snap back to present.

She open her eyes and turn around to see a woman standing behind them. They were unarmed which put her mind to relative ease, though it didn't take away the embarrassment she felt upon being caught off guard and naked. They didn't look like a soldier either, so they had to be some civilian who wander too close to the military zone even if technically not being within its limits.

"I'm.." Lightning struggle to find an excuse. "I'm not sure you are supposed to be here, the garrison isn't far from here." She spoke up before realizing that turning around to face the woman Lightning had stood up to show her body from waist up. Clearing her throat she wrap one of her arms to cover her chest and look aside to avoid their gaze "You are at the edge of the military zone." Nothing she said was an actual reason for the civilian woman turn away and realizing that she had no authority to tell them to leave Lightning sigh.

"I'm sorry... I thought no one knew of this place."
