the concerts i was lucky enough to go to: little mix at the grove, one direction at staples (twice!), walk the moon, imagine dragons, and ed sheeran. they were all so, so awesome, for different reasons!

pride weekend in nyc with some of my best pals -- though it turned out to be less about pride and more about being tourists, which was probably more fun tbh

finishing exhale the dust because it is the longest thing i have ever written (by 2x) and it took SEVEN DAMN MONTHS but i finished it. i'm really really proud of that.

i got to see the kids i work with as a college counselor graduate and go off to the schools of their dreams!!

there was this one kid i worked with at the tutoring center (my other job) who was having trouble with reading and spelling (and attention span tbh) who was ultimately very sweet. anyways he was kind of difficult to work with but after a couple of months he had improved SO much and that was wonderful.

i made this tumblr this year and met some really neat people. hi sarah!!! hi mikayla!!! hi liz!!! :)

overall i got a LOT of personal writing done and I feel like i've really improved as a writer (though i've been horrible the past few months but i'm going to overlook that)

there is a certain person that i eliminated from my life this year and it was difficult but there's a lot less negativity in my life

i made hummus for the first time ever at thanksgiving and it was yumz

this is a very recent thing but also i had a huge huge project for my phonetics class that required a substantial amount of original work and i'm quite proud of how it turned out aaaaaaand i'm maybe considering doing some original research on the topic but idk

this is a long list. sorry for the rambles, but apparently i had a pretty good year!!
