          it’s as though a switch has been flipped internally. as always, all it takes to return her to her scavenging, resourceful self is a crisis. she scans the land around them, soon going about plucking twigs that hide amidst the tall grass. night is coming, and considering the autumn chill that had set over the land late in the day of her arrival, a fire is without a doubt NECESSARY.

        “ alright. raditz, right? pick up any dry grass and pine ya can find. please. ” she whirls to face him, arms full of wood and yellowed leaves. “ i’ll go ‘bout findin’ us some food later. first thing’s first, we need a bonfire. the best place to set up camp is in that cave we saw back a ways. ”

          knowing raditz might be as reluctant to help and stubborn as the other saiyans she’s met, she adds, “ it’s in yer best interest to listen to me, alright? ya go wanderin’ off on yer own, and yer gonna freeze yer ass off in this weather. this planet’s a shitshow. ”
