Isabella hated her father. He was always so harsh on her, she was nothing like her older sister who was popular and easily gain the attentions of potential suitors, while Isabella was a introverted book worm. Her nose was always in a book, focusing on whatever topic was her current interest. And now she was being told that they had found her a husband. An older man that had taken interest in her since she started puberty and that scared her. She didnt want to be married especially not to a older man that she didnt even know other then him being a creep.

She jumped out of her bedroom that night when everyone was asleep and she went to the only person she trusted. It took her awhile to get there, seeing as she was walking and they lived in opposite sides of the city.

When she made it to his home, she walked up and knocked on the door, holding her cardigan close to her as she waited for him to answer.

One Little Worried Jackalope || @radiokast

Aya had been over the moon when everyone had come home safe. Well, she had been, until she learned two had not made it back. And anytime she asked what happened, everyone seemed to avoid it, giving her non-answers. Like she wasn't strong enough to hear it. She knows she's weak, dang it, but she's not a child - if something happened, she wants to know! Wants to help bring them home!

So needless to say, she continues to fret long after everyone tries to move forward with their lives. Sure, she normally avoided Alastor - his reputation made her maybe just a little frightened of him - but still! If nothing else, she wanted to know he was at least safe!

Maybe it was foolish - maybe it was stupid. But she... just had to know. Even if she doesn't speak to him - knowing he's okay would be enough. Knowing either of them were okay would be enough for now.

Never did she expect to turn a corner and run right into his chest, however. Squeaking, she immediately stumbles back several steps. Obviously she hadn't been paying attention, lost in thought - a risky move in Hell. But when she looks up, sees who it is, her entire face lights up in obvious relief. "Mr. Alastor! You're, um, you're alright! I - well, I'd been worried." It's more words than she's probably ever said to him in the entire time she's been at the Hotel.

[🍎] "A date…with you?" He stares at him for a moment before bursting into laughter. "OH! OH this one has jokes. Very funny!" He holds his stomach, feeling a tinge of pain. "Mmm...Ok, I'm going back to bed." He throws the bingo card over his shoulder and turns to go back to his room.
