Deathly pale, it illuminates; reveals the despondent anxieties that crawl under my skin, running a frozen path through my multi-faceted lifeline, my every thought and fantasies, my heart, my soul, my total being. You are my world. My sun. My everything. Forever on the tip of my tongue, you descend on your futile journey; tearing through the fragile flesh of my mind and, like a foetus of metal, you form a transformative cocoon. You burst out from your cage with a violent paroxysm, free-falling into the pulsing, aching engine of my soul. And there, in my weakened heart, you reside, always. You’ve made me love you, Ewan. You’ve made me need you. The cure to my anhedonia, my life, my painful torment. My moonlight.
