I’ve been seeing a lot about this topic on social media so i REALLY WANT TO STRESS THIS TO YOU GUYS,,
I DO NOT AND NEVER HAVE INTENTIONALLY USED AI FOR ANYTHING. AND I NEVER WILL. ESPECIALLY FOR MY CREATIVE ENDEAVORS.
I do love my em dashes, commas, I italicize a LOT for emphasis/attitude in words, but I will NEVER EVER USE IT FOR MY ART OR MY WRITING ESPECIALLY and I have absolutely no desire to. Never have, never will.
I hate AI usage in general, but imho when it was created it should have been created for the things I DON’T want to do. NOT my writing, my art, etc. The things that I genuinely enjoy doing with every fiber of my being? Absolutely not.
I’ve been drawing since I could pick up a pencil. I’ve been writing since I was thirteen, if not earlier. AI has no claim on my ass and it will stay that way for me until the day I die.

Hey all! I’ve been wanting to put this together for a long time, so here it is!
These are 21 of the songs that have really inspired me to write the reboot. I have my own IKYS playlist that I listen to when I’m writing, brainstorming, editing, fleshing out future chapters, and these are all on it!
They’re not in any particular order other than the last one, which is the one I really feel like would be the theme song for the whole fic. Otherwise they range in genre, vibe, all that fun stuff. I won’t give anything away, but different songs have to do with different dynamics and situations that you’ll come to piece together down the line… wink wonk.
Sythwave is obvious, for galactic robots and all that. Cinematic epics for the drama and PMVs that I imagine in my head! Bumblebee I think would definitely like vibes of Kid Spirit, Weirdo, and the like. And then the angsty ones are there for obvious reasons.
If you have any personal songs that you like to associate with the fic, I’d SO LOVE to hear them! Who knows, they just might end up added to this list… ; )

After some discussion… it’s just too long. 11.1k+ words. jfc.
SO with that being said, I’ll be splitting it up into two parts! Chapter five will be up either tonight or tomorrow. Chapter six will be coming within the next two weeks while I get a head start on chapter seven.
It’s a trip, y’all. More banter, some action, and a few things start to unravel. If you squint.

This is so funny, guys. I am on a roll with chapter five now. I’ve cranked out another essay’s worth of words (2k+) over the last day and a half while also answering asks/requests and I want to keep writing it (I am) BUT THE ASKS IN MY INBOX…. BRO.
You guys have some incredible, heartbreakingly adorable ideas that I want to take in my grubby hands and RUN A MARATHON WITH. AND I WILL.
For now, have a sneak peek at Raubtier und Beute… It’s probably coming before any other requests because it has suddenly become my extreme hyperfixation after more than four solid gd months of writers block. It’ll most likely be done tomorrow, then I’ll hand it over to my beta readers, edit, and post. THE END IS NEAR. I CAN FINALLY SEE THE LIGHT. Thank you so much for your patience, ilysm.

@ that anon and also the very kind person who commented on every single chapter of IKYS over on ao3 in the last two days……… the way i finished and edited chapter ten at breakneck speed in the last day was for u babies. I seem to get absolutely MASSIVE bursts of inspiration to write when I see that people really like the story, so from the bottom of my stupid little heart, thank you!!!! I love you!!!!
