Perhaps it's the strange stuff that's been going on with him ever since the voyage, or perhaps it's just getting fucking old, but whatever it is, Marlin unfortunately finds himself needing to eat more than usual. Fortunately Arcadia comes stocked with a good variety of dining establishments - and by that he means maybe three, four if you squint - and thus, since he doesn't have a kitchen available, he can still be well fed.
He has to spend every cent that he has to do it, but still.
Marlin sits at a table in Konohana Restaurant, his feet kicked out far under the table, slouching as far down as he can where he can still see the table, and waits for service as he considers the menu. Yes, he does think it's a good idea to spend half a month's rent on a dish, that definitely seems wise, he thinks dryly. He'd better not have to eat again for a month.
