RAE MORRIS: O2 RITZ, MANCHESTER

Blackpool’s very own absolutely stunning singer/ songwriter/ musician Rae Morris was back in Manchester at the O2 Ritz. I was shooting tonight as house photographer for Academy Music Group. The lighting was very tricky (although looked very atmospheric ) to say the least, but after a bit of tweaking I am quite pleased with the results.

I’ve seen and photographed Rae a few times, but its been a good few years, back then she was rather shy behind a small keyboard. Tonight I got the shock of my life when I saw how confident, animated and joyous she appeared, jumping around the stage and it was quite a dramatic progression. I uploaded a live photo review on Louder Than War, which you see here:
