its like people wanna take the Fun out of shipping  back in MY day we didnt Have canon m/m or f/f ships to squabble over--we died alone in our trenches like men i mean dude--i don’t ship x just to spite you i ship x because it’s Fun and exploring the dynamic is Interesting. i don’t even know u well enough to make it into a personal attack on you.  People take fandom things so personal on this website sometimes and it boggles my mind--like... there’s no way it’s healthy :/

Actually, I think it's a baiting question at best/worst, because it's very easy to just scroll through a person's blog and see for one's self if they're into something or not. So either someone asking this is trying to start shit, or are too lazy to look at something themselves. Either way I think I'd ignore, if not block outright no questions asked.

because you can usually deduce whether or not someone ships something via going through the original tags or even blog pages if you’ve got access. (In my case I’ve got a page on my blog) I usually delete anon questions like that outright--it’s like someone asking your bigoted granny about politics at Thanksgiving. Just........... not worth it. @x@

alphakid the live journal moved to dreamwidth.... but idk if its still active (looking back, it really is sad. there was a lot of good ways to people connect without bashing each other)(or being worried about antis) fandom is just... different nowadays

it really is it just feels like its been sort of spiraling as of late and people are So Okay with people being chased off of the internet over fictional characters these days its a little scary,,,
