Where would you, as a benevolent nature spirit, live in/with: the forest, beach, desert, mountains, etc?

Beach, for sure! 

I might be as white as hell, and not be able to stay out in the sun for more than a few minutes at a time, but I’ve lived in coastal cities all my life, and there’s nothing like being close to the sea.
