To Be Commissioned Raffle 2023 - Open! by Sould1n
Every year, I have hosted a unique raffle on DeviantArt for artists. It’s a unique raffle wherein I both commission the winning artist (who receive a tip on top of their usual payment) and have them select a video game to playthrough on the Grin Brothers channel at the same time. It’s resulted in fantastic playthroughs using the fantastic artwork as opening pieces and now, for the first time, I’m opening it up to artists outside of DeviantArt. Are you interested? Guidelines
1) For the first time, this Raffle will be open to non-DeviantArt users, however the raffle winner's artwork must still be uploaded to DeviantArt. This would be through granting me permission to upload the artwork on their behalf, naturally with artist's signature/watermark and links back to them and their original upload.
2) The drawing you will be commissioned for (if you win) must include the Grin Brother's mascots; Nanka and/or Hat!

3) You must be able to accept payment via PayPal (the payment method) in order to enter. From previous experience, I know this can also be done via Ko-fi.
4) The commission you create (upon winning) has a budget limit of £175, though this does not include the tip I will add on.
5) This raffle ends on 26th January, wherein I will draw the raffle ticket via a random number generator the following morning.
6) The commissioned artwork must be completed by the end of May/early June; giving a good 4 months to complete the commission, which I feel is a fair time.
7) No A.I. generated Art allowed. The flooding of this on DeviantArt is a big reason why I’m opening up this raffle to artists outside of DeviantArt for the first time.
8) The commissioned artwork must be based on one of six game choices, which I'll present to you now in the How To Enter section.
How to Enter + Gain Raffle Tickets!
1) Entering this raffle and gaining your first raffle ticket is the simple process of typing down in the comment section of this post one of the following six games. The game you type will be the one chosen as the basis for the commissioned artwork and will be the game my brother and I will play at some point this year. I will then take your comment and game suggestions and post it within the comment section of DeviantArt. Here are the options:
Elden Ring – An open world Souls game featuring iconic high levels of difficulty and roll to win gameplay.
Haze – A PS3 exclusive FPS developed by veterans of the genre; telling a tale of war, hallucinogenic drugs and the colour yellow.
Okami – A Japanese folklore set and style action-adventure akin to The Legend of Zelda but as a dog goddess of the sun.
PangYa! Golf with Style – An anime styled golfing game set within a fantasy world of witches, pirates, floating islands and bikinis.
Resident Evil 6 – The classic horror series but this time with more over-the-top action and more co-op character campaigns than ever before.
Voice of Cards: The Isle Dragon Roars – A turn based RPG tale of trying to stop a dragon of catastrophe told entirely through a table-top setting and plenty of cards.
2) If it all checks out, then I shall reply to your comment and hand you a raffle ticket.
3) To gain an additional raffle ticket, you can suggest a game to be included in next year's raffle. You can suggest as many games as you would like but it will result in just one additional ticket.
