Ok totally my opinion but other countries actually care about football... I don't hear positive things about football here often. The majority of what I hear is "soccer's gay huhuhuh." In other countries they send EVERYONE home from work to see their national team play. Most people here couldn't give a shit about it. There are some people that do want to see USA win, don't get me wrong, but there are also a lot of people that are riding USA's dick right now saying they're the best/they're gonna win cause 'murica and then if/when the USMNT loose they'll say soccer is stupid anyways and they never really cared. I don't think a country like ours deserves to go far/win the world cup. Not right now anyways. Maybe if in the future more Americans respect the sport I will change my mind, but at this moment I will not.
