One Direction pisses me off so much
No one cares if your a 'Directioner' or a 'Directionator' SHUT THE FUCK UP
Society is so fucked up.
No matter how much you want to deny it, we are all so judgmental to the things, people, religion or beliefs that we find different to what we think is normal. We are all free-thinking human beings, free to think whatever comes into our minds, laws may stop us from physically doing these ideas, but we are still able to think whatever we want- no matter how extreme- because no human being can read another ones thoughts (yet). What stops us from actually doing what our hearts and minds desire the most, is that we are so content on not stepping out of line in society's viewpoint. Yeah, you may say you dont care about being 'mainstream', but still there is a mental constraint in your head which can stop from doing what you want because it is not the norm.
What gets me the most is that people don't realise how much they aren't told. They dont realise that the 30min segment of news actually does not tell you what really is happening. Sure it gives a brief outline, but is that really the full story? The major media outlets often only publish the stories that will sell, which unfortunately, are the ones which give the wrong message or idea about something.
If, for example, there is a story about a type of religion, what the media will do is only publish quotes from the very extremists of this religion- a very small percentage of them are- and by doing soon, within less than 30 seconds, has generalised, stereotyped and badmouthed a whole religion and group of people in our society. With this continuous cycle, we have become subjected to the media's control. What they print~we believe. But really, how can you be so sure that what they publish is the full truth?
I hate those "If you don't reblog this you're heartless" posts
What is reblogging it going to do? It's not going to stop cancer, it's not going to stop animal cruelty and it's not going to bring back a loved one. I'm sorry, it may seem harsh, but it pisses me off so much. If you want to make a difference, go raise some money for charity instead of posting things on Tumblr.
