'Back to the Future' inside-out jeans should be all the rage
‘Back to the Future’ inside-out jeans should be all the rage
If a Thief of Time when up against a Knight of Rage and a Prince of mind, do they have half a chance in hell?
I like to think that unless you’re a non-god-tiered page, everyone is relatively equal in combat, if they’re equal in terms of personal growth + combat skill, most titles will equal each other out
Thief of Time vs a Knight of Rage and Prince of Mind would be difficult because it’s 2v1 but if the Thief was more in tune with their powers they can turn the tides
Stealing time from the Knight or Prince would allow the Thief to basically remove one or both of them from any time period, or steal their speed to accelerate themselves and do whatever they want really
Knight of Rage might have something planned beforehand, however, that would make the thief unable to properly use their powers [Fury makes them reckless, intimidation makes them incompetent, etc]
Prince of Mind, if able to get a clear grasp of the Thief at all, could just completely destroy the thief’s ability to think or do anything
So it kind of depends on who gets the shot in first, but even if slowed down a Prince might still be able to melt the thief’s mind and the thief might be able to instinctively move themselves to a different timeframe to recover from the prince’s effects
Could you do Bard of Life and Heir of Rage?
I swear I know somebody who is a Bard of Life, I just can’t place who
The Bard of Life is somebody who invites the destruction of life or allows destruction to happen by unchaining the aspect of life
I imagine the bard of life being someone who walks around and flowers and grass and small animals just drop dead around him every once in a while, and his very presence is toxic enough to shorten the lifespan of anyone around him [regardless of his personality]
The Bard of Life also [similar to gamzee beginning without any rage in him, and cronus having no hope in him] may begin their quest without life. This means they may be a zombified version of themselves, or a ghost, or [depending on your spiritual view on robots] a construct
They can also invite destruction through life, meaning living beings and rampant growth can overrun enemies or allies and destroy them
People’s lives leaving behind some kind of destructive influence
For Heir of Rage I think I actually posted about that but that was back in the day and I’m actually too embarrassed about that snapshot to link you so anyway
The Heir of Rage is one who inherits rage as an aspect. They may be passively protected by fear or anger beforehand as well: Others may not want to do them harm out of fear, or problems may be solved through a sudden burst of strength wrought by anger.
If they inherit rage, it may allow them to become the personification of what other people fear or hate, or alternately manipulate people’s insecurities or hate to reach whatever goal they desire
Could you do rogue of rage?
You know, I swear I wrote about the Rogue of Rage before but I can’t find it anywhere
Now the Rogue of Rage is interesting because seriously, what the hell is Rage?
All we really concretely know about Rage is that it definitely includes anger, and fear, and both Heroes of Rage in Homestuck never do anything consistent
The Rogue of Rage sounds like somebody who can steal things for their allies by using anger or fear as a tool. For example bullying someone into giving you and your allies some grist or food. I have no idea what Kurloz’s mind control has to do with rage, if anything, but if it does have something to do with rage then you could just dominate people and control them into giving you things
I kind of wonder if they can steal rage/fear itself, and if that would have any use at all? Perhaps if they take fear or anger away from their allies and cripple their enemies with it
If you're still taking requests, could you give an explanation of Prince of Rage?
Prince of Rage sounds cute
One who destroys rage! According to a thing Hussie said once, the Prince, in order to complete their personal quest, will have their aspect forcibly destroyed in them along the way.
We can’t really look at Kurloz too well as a Prince of Rage just because he was Beforan, but we can see his Alternian counterpart, GHB, who used intimidation and rage to keep everybody else in check, essentially destroying their freedom through rage.
A Prince of Rage is one who can either destroy fear/caution/anger/motivation, or alternately utilize their mastery of intimidation / rage to destroy other things.
Some practical uses off the top of my head
Intimidate people into destroying things for you
Destroy the fear or doubt in other people so you can do whatever you want with them, or empower them to fight with you
Fill people with such fury it consumes them and destroys them
So what? You don't agree with the things that I do And you always accuse me I can never ever be a perfect fucking image of What you want & nobody can ever live forever get over it I'm ready now
