Oh, what joy to watch the 13-14yo serve the Japanese guests that came to visit us today. They were told to come to GI at 9.45am and no one was late. 👍 They received instructions and acted upon them, and no word of complaint was heard even though things were a little messy in the morning and some of them didn't even get to eat much of the breakfast. 👍 They took care of the Japanese girls and went out of their comfort zone to talk and play with them. 👍 I saw the servant's heart as I watched them host the guests today. And Lord, i thank You for giving me a glimpse of the potential of these young people. Truly no one is too young to be in the kingdom of God and to serve Him because to serve Him is to serve people. Show me more of Your heart for them, Lord. • I'm also thankful for all the leaders who were of great support and special shoutout to @catsandtowels who willingly agreed to my spontaneity in getting him to share the gospel to the Japanese people! I thank God for your heart, Gene! • One funny moment i had today. I said to a group of girls at breakfast "watch her. She will show you how to eat this thing." And then went like 😱 "SHOYU???" Today was the last serve of Emerge 2018 and it was bittersweet. And bittersweet is probably an understatement. It was more bitter than sweet for me. In a good way. • No words can describe how I'm even feeling about this community that has been built the past two years. I didn't even realise how close to my heart this bunch has grown to be until God said to give it back to Him. My heart broke. I felt like a piece of my heart was taken away from me as I struggled to yield to what the Lord was telling me to do. I wanted to hold on to this, but no, God said no. • I always told people "ministry belongs to God" but never really knew what it meant until God said to give it back to Him. My heart is still an open wound as I type this, and tears still well up in my eyes.. but I know what's the wiser thing to do. And that is to yield to the Lord and do what He says even if it's difficult because Jesus is better than anything else that I can have in this world. • God, thank You for Your grace upon my life. Thank You for being gentle in the way You told me to give back the ministry to You. Thank You for knowing what's best for me. Lord, it's still painful, but I'm trusting You. I'm holding on to You. I'm dropping my anchor deep into You. For only You alone can satisfy me. Not young people, not the ministry. So take me, lead me and use me, Lord. • Three things I've learnt the last two years: 1. Leadership is a call to know God deeper. 2. All are called to a relationship with God. 3. Ministry is about leading people to begin a relationship with God by having relationships with them. • And Philippains 3:1-11 will probably mean much more to me now as I shared this for the last pre service. Grace Retreat 2018 | “Your love is like fire that burns for all to see.” A small fire can be easily put out. But no easy feat when the fire is big. Big fires are not easily put out, instead, they spread quickly. Lord, make us a people that is united. When we are united, our fire is big even if as individuals our fire is small. When we are one and together, we shine brighter and we are a stronger fire. Make us a people whose fire will never die out by anything in this world. Instead, make our fire grow bigger and spread like wildfire. Unstoppable. Uncontainable. Lord, make us that people. #mustardthefaith #rageyouth #rageishome #graceretreat2018

This was our last dinner on the trip where all of us got our Burmese names 😄 I love going on mssns because it always gives me a glimpse of what heaven would look like; where people of all tribes, tongues, and nations would gather to worship God together. . Every 1 April marks my new year in ministry, and I thank God for letting me go on a trip every start of my new year in ministry. He knows the desires of my heart and Lord, I’m eternally grateful for that. . My personal highlight was being affirmed by God again of my full time calling. It wasn’t in my transcript to share how God led me into ministry but I found myself sharing that with the youths. And the moment I shared that, I sensed God reaffirming me of the calling He’s given me. And among those who were listening, I also sensed that God was using my story to lead them into ministry. May the Lord raise up more people to serve Him full time. . Lord, I’m always humbled when You use me. I am undeserving yet You wouldn’t give up on me. You give me the privilege of journeying with young people and the honour of watching them grow. Lord, You are so good to me. . Lord, keep us in Your love. And may we find that it is so much more pleasurable to be in Your presence than anywhere else. Day 2/8: is it everyday also got beautiful sky? God, You are so good. Thank You for being patient with me and never rushing me with my growth. Lord, help me to extend this grace this You’ve shown me to the people You have given me to care for. . It was just rewarding to watch the team going out of their comfort to serve without hesitation or complaints. Many said “I was able to do this and I don’t even know how...” and “I didn’t even realize I did this.” it must be the empowerment of the Spirit. Lord, show us what life could look like if we would completely surrender to Your leading and empowerment. May we be hungry for that as You open our eyes to see the power of living in that manner. . #ragegoesglobal #rageyouth #rageishome

Day 1/8: “omg look! The clouds look like candy floss!” And the next moment I saw judgey eyes looking at me. Thank You, God, for making nice skies. . Since day 1 when we started planning, the team has never missed any deadlines even though the timeline was extremely tight (we only had one month for planning). They never complained though at times I could feel the heart-stop moments. I pray that each of you will experience life-change after this trip :) . #ragegoesglobal #teamwhitestar #rageyouth
