"See you at camp!"
24. Ran out of food in the wilderness – looks like you have to catch your own!
A camping trip in the woods! When the idea was proposed to him, Roger jumped at the chance! He was a rabbit, after all! A natural-born survivor! At least, that’s what he assumed... though it was becoming increasingly apparent as time went on, that if you spent your whole life living in a bustling city with no contact with the natural world, then you probably didn’t have much in the way of survival-skills.
Roger trudged through the thick forest with Sally, looking completely ragged. His fur was dirty. There were pine needles and leaves clinging to him. He was hot, tired, uncomfortable -- but worst of all, he was hungry. They’d been out of food for what had to be hours now! Things were looking grim.
Suddenly, the tired rabbit sat himself down on the ground and draped an exhausted arm over his eyes, tilting his head back and groaning melodramatically.
“We’re done for! It’s over! I haven’t had mineral water from an Icelandic glacier in hours! I haven’t even seen an electrical outlet! Let’s face the facts! We’re dead ducks!”
