Testament - Raging Waters
“Back there is the center of space and time: San Dimas, seven-hundred years ago” ~Kelly, Bill & Ted Face the Music
“...where the 10, 210, and 57 freeways meet in San Dimas!” ~ Raging Waters commercial
🤦♀️ I really should stop reading the Reddit sub like a year after the fact... But also this fandom will clearly be the death of me...
Did anyone else notice an instrumental version of the UTI song was playing when greg and Rebecca went to raging waters?
Revitalization
Blue Blubber was an oddity. She was not human, but a blue blubber jellyfish floating in an orb upon a robot body. She had a labcoat and a face that projected on her bowl. It was a bit choppy but read her emotions well.
Currently she was working happily on a machine that would revitalize a person.
" Send them back to a fixed point, if you will. Much like a save point in a video game. If I zap you with this neat and dandy little ray you will be good as new!" She said happily to the young heroes.
KoBoom and Raging Waters had recently lost their powers. They had been messing about in an old abandoned lab of Professor J,s. Professor J was your standard mad scientist. Making all sorts of strange evil creations. Giant sea creatures, exoskeleton suits, the works. She had died many years ago at the hands of Fandala's greatest hero, Mimik.
Mimik had been the mother of Boom and Waters. She had kept Fandala safe from Professor J's monstrosities with her power of Mockery. She could become anything. A pen on a table, a man crossing the street, a dog. She could hide perfectly. Mix this with her extensive martial arts training and you had a perfect hero.
" Good, I dont know what we couldve done without you Blue" Boom smiled.
" Yeah, we shouldnt have been dicking around in Professor J's old lab" Waters sighed.
The android's projected face slid back and fourth across the bowl, mimicing a shaking head
" You could not have known what would lie in the laboratory. I know you were looking for what could have happened to your mother but I truly think she is gone. If the Professor could not survive that blast I doubt Mimik could as well." She said in the most solemn way an android could.
" Yes but... What if they both survived? If Professor J is still out there, it could explain all the things going on in town" The boy explained hopefully.
"And if Professor J survived, who's...who's to say mom didnt?" Waters said with a broken voice.
The android made a robotic sigh.
" I do not know if the Professor is still out there. But I do doubt it highly. I do almost wish she had survived for the sake of her own child. Alton is such a smart boy." She said, looking down at the body she was inhabiting. Alton had built it for her, or rather finished a prototype of his mothers.
" Yeah if only she wasn't craz-" Boom was cut off by the boy entering. He was a bit older then both Boom and Waters, and was wearing his own labcoat.
" Is it finished, Blue? The revitalizer? " He asked hopefully, holding out a hand for the small ray gun, which the android handed him with a smile.
"Yes Alton, I have recalibrated it and tested it on the subjects you had requested. " she said with a synthetic smile as Alton walked away to observe the subjects.
Moon jellyfish. Taken all the way back to their polyp phase of life. He looked at the gun and then entered in the date he needed.
" Alright, there we go! All ready to blast" He said with an excited giggle, turning to look at the two heroes and the android.
The siblings stood, waiting for their cue.
" Ready to be revitalized whenever you are Alton" Raging Waters said with a smile.
Alton raised the gun, took aim, and shot Blue in the back of the globe.
There was a stunned silence as the android's projected face glitched and her body seemed to spasm. She turned to Alton as best she could and asked a glitched
"A-alton?"
Before her suit gave out, crashing to the floor, smashing her globe and releasing the jellyfish within.
" Dude what the hell?!" KoBoom said in disbelief.
" You killed Blue!" Shouted a horrified Waters.
But then they saw it. The slime that was once Blue Blubber twitched. Something was happening.
The first to form out of the tentacles was a horrifying pale arm, seeming to raise from the goop. Then the other. The two arms helped themselves up on slightly steady feet as the torso elongated, bones forming and snapping grotesquely into place. A head with long jellyfish like tentacle hair was the last to form. This jellyfish humanoid that stood before them took deep, gurgling breaths of air. She hadnt breathed in two long years. Her body may not have had the defining features of a woman, but the face with the wicked grin was unmistakeable.
" Hello again, children" said Professor Velella Jellyfish, retrieving her glasses and labcoat from her son and sweeping her tentacle hair to one side. " Its been too long"

Those water slides cannot possibly be legal. Also the otter has got his phone in a plastic bag to keep it dry while swimming. Has he never heard of an OTTERbox?
Raging Waters
The rain dissipates into vapor as the flames sears at its touch, consuming the flowers. Petal by petal: they burned away. Leaving behind ashes, memories, for me to bury within the dirt.
This was the desecrated ground: nothing holy, nothing light. Just imperfection so close to perfection, that it turned into nothing more, nothing less, than cinder.
Charring my skin as I reached out for what was left. But nothing remained. I was simply scarred by the memories of the flowers flared in life, and disintegrated by death.
The waters could not calm, never quell, the anger of the fire. Sensations rushed through my body, electrifying me, as I saw it all happen.
The garden, the epitome of beauty, grace, love, hope, died in my eyes. I stood by watching, unable to stop it as it happened. Watched as I was left behind by the beauty, grace, love, and hope. --c; Huimin Zhuo [April 10th, 2013]
