                                                 Drip. Plop. Drip. Plop. Drip. Plop.

          Water from the earlier heavy rains fell into the pond that rest in the centre of the Kuchiki Garden. Violet hues stared out at the Koi fish that swam about, a gentle smile pulling at the corners of her lips, her thoughts wandering to various things. The most prominent thought that made itself known was her concern about how her childhood friend was doing.

          Renji had been sent off on a mission to the World of the Living several weeks ago and wasn’t scheduled to return for at least another three days. With the vague details her brother gave her about what this mission was for, she was able to grasp that there had been some suspicious happenings in town so they had sent someone of Lieutenant rank off to check it out.

          I hope you’re doing alright, Renji, the raven hair thought to herself as dainty feet kicked about in the air.
