Say what you will about the Bratz dolls, but they provided relatively cheap and incredibly accessible poc dolls that were freakin' rad. I had so many as a kid, and they never felt like an afterthought/lazy attempt at diversity for the sake of not being called racist like certain other doll lines had. There were tons of dolls and they switched around their line up a lot, but there were never less than two or three (frequently more) poc in the 5/6 of the main group, and I always appreciated that. They weren't perfect, but I still think fondly of them.
