When fighting anyone Lord Raiden would usually use his whole hand to zap them with his thunder god powers. Once he starts... "fooling around" with you, sometimes his champions would notice he would sometimes only used two when using his lighting powers. His index and his middle finger.
I mean he's still getting the job done and when you're in the middle of a fight you don't really think about it.
Well of course Johnny Cage had to be the one who asked him about this because you were all at the temple together and why not.
At first Lord Raiden doesn't say anything he just blinks and then he rubs the back of his neck and rolls his shoulders. You of course are turning red as an apple but you don't respond you just turn away and pretend to do something else. The question wasn't for you after all but you are indeed the reason why he started only using... Two fingers.
But with Lord Raiden his answer is quite simple actually.
"Oh... Just muscle memory I suppose."
Johnny raises a brow wondering what he means and then he looks at you and then back at Lord Raiden.
"oh... OH-" You instantly clap your hand over Johnny's mouth and say:
"Ifyoudon'tshutthefuckupIwillpeelyourdickwithapotatopeeler"
Johnny turns pale and nods and looks between you and Lord Raiden one more time before he runs off out of fear of you going through with your threat.
When you turn back to glare at Lord Raiden he just stares blankly. He doesn't know what he did wrong he didn't say anything inappropriate... And he wasn't wrong either.
Maybe if he would have told literally anyone else who wouldn't have INSTANTLY understood what he meant then it would have been fine... But no... You said that to Mr. Johnny 'dirty minded' Cage.
Lord Raiden apologies and promises to try and remember to use his full hand when he is in Kombat.
