uhhhhh hey there! sorry to be such a bother, but i just saw your most recent dogman post/comic, and wow. im genuinely at a loss of words, and if it wasn't for the fact that im work as of me writing this, id probs start tearing up (i promise this is all positive)

not trying to sound stupidly emotional or anything, but media (shows/cartoons, movies, video games, etc.) have never really made me emotional. like i feel sad during sad moments and stuff like that, but ive never had that moment where i gasped and lost all the air in my lungs. ive never had that moment where i had to stop everything and anything and acknowledge the tears welling up in my eyes. this year is different, as aside from an absolutely breathtaking dogman comic drawn by @peanutheaddd (tldr comic is a time skip/future au of sorts where petey is older and dogman has passed due to old age. it's sort of petey reflecting on things/monologuing if you will), this comic has also made me cherish life even more

i try to live everyday like it's my last. im here for a long time, but also a good time. so i keep my heart and mind as young as possible, despite my body growing old. i hold the people i love like my life depends on them, and for some (such as my mom), they do. it's art like yours that really squeezes my heart and adds a more unique perspective when it comes to life

Ok first of all, never apologies for writing long rambles, I always applaud those ppl bcus I'm such an opposite. I can never write my feelings into words, and always feel it doesn't convey enough how much I appreciate all what you've said to me 🥹

I'm so happy to be able to share the feelings I have with these characters, the same way what the books and movie were like to me. Stuff like these is why I love sharing art, cuz we all get to cry together 😭

I also love what you've said about appreciating life in a different perspective, esp when I also used to see it in a negative way before, kinda like Petey. But I realize, little things like art of your favorite characters, can give your life so much more. Spending time with family or friends, creating art for me, and just enjoying life in general is what makes me go through it. 💖

With commissions, it's been a long time planning of opening mine, I think I remember it was 2 years of debate with myself until I made my own commission sheet and actually posted it XDDD How I came up with the prices is by me looking at other commission sheets and starting there owo, plan on what you wanna give and remember to not sell yourself short!

And by selling art you mean merch making, that happened with my friends XDD There's a lot more braining with that because it can become a business and there is always a chance you won't get income, but if you're able to research well enough before going in, it could be a fun side hustle!
