Markie nodded weakly, just thankful to the Programmers they made it. Though severely weakened, he still had a faint nagging feeling - Sandra was still on his mind. Yes, they pushed through against all odds, but judging from the way their impromptu nurses looked, they weren’t out of the mess yet.
The boy called Neo kept rummaging through his drawers and first aid kit in a panic, which honestly alarmed Markie. Unbeknownst to him, however, his worry caused him to keep awake while they attended to Sandra first. Oh he sure hoped they’d attend to her first.
His vision was blurry as tears started to cloud his eyes, his arms too weak to lift and wipe the tears away. All his senses were heightened to the point Neo’s and Nea’s voices were loud enough, but with the loss of his own blood he began to feel so light-headed that he can’t hear them clearly, only two distinct chattering noises in the background. Markie could still make out a little of what they said, and true enough, it didn’t seem to be good. He could’ve sworn Neo said she was freezing.
And in that instant, Markie’s forehead broke into cold sweat. Will she be okay? Somebody tell him she was going to be...
As soon as Neo left to get blankets, he mustered all the strength he had left to grab Nea’s nearby hand and tell her something he really wanted to say.
"Please... Save... Sandra... Beg you... Please...”
At that moment, everything whited out...
I’m sure there’s a reason I drew this, but I don’t know what it is
