Headcannon for Rainbow Pollination (RWBY+Illia) because I'm still obsessed with it.

Send me a RWBY ship and I’ll give you a random headcanon about it.

It started out with Ilia dating just Blake, while Blake was also dating the rest of her team. But after a while, Ilia gets curious about how the polyamorous thing would work if she were involved with the others as well (since she’s never dated more than one person at a time), and Ilia is surprised by how open to it the others are. She takes to it quickly, too. All of the polycule is very reassuring and comforting to her when she needs it, and her sense of humor really meshes with Ruby and Yang especially. By joining, Ilia also unseats Weiss as the cuddliest of the bunch. She will almost always be hugging the nearest girlfriend to her at any given moment.

Rereading the fantastic fic Rainbow Pollination because it updated, and I decided to make some memes

Ilia turns back into Yang's neck, cuddling into her and feeling the other girl pull her in more - if that is even possible at this point. Any tighter, and they're going to start bonding together.

"Just... keep talking to me, please."

Yang nods against her hair, and Ilia feels her press a kiss there once again before she presumably starts back up whatever string of silly stories she'd been telling her earlier.

Seriously though, if you want stuff about smol gay lizard because you were salty when she got written out (I know I was :c) then this is a brilliant fic for you! And if you like Pollination this is also a brilliant fic because it’s your favorite dynamic, but with even more gay and even more cute! 

Warnings: The fic has notable NSFW content (not smut persay, but sex is a thing that happens and there’s no shortage of suggestive content), so if you’re not An Adult or not a fan of that wouldn’t recommend reading it. If you’re fine with that though, I wholeheartedly recommend it!

I love them!!! I loved every one of their interactions in the show. They have such an interesting relationship and it was definitely one of the highlights of v7-8 for me
