After watching Kipo and going “yeah why not watch She-Ra for the third time” it’s very satisfying to have a show where they just fucking hit people

#like I know the combat isn’t really the point of kipo it’s the environmentalist message and not seeing some kaiju duke it out #but also having She-Ra blow stuff up and punch soldiers is still very satisfying #also wow I forgot how hard they went with the war aspect in the first two episodes #I feel like that doesn’t really come back #kipo and the age of wonderbeasts #she ra #revealing my fandoms like a magician doing a card trick #rainbow review

I finished Bookwalker (From Xbox game pass) and I liked it, most of the plots were interesting and I think the ones with more characters really shined because of the conflict between Etienne and Roderick. I wish the combat had been more varied (I mostly did a variety of stomp until out of ink, then drain, shield if going to take more than 1 damage.) perhaps by letting you use the relics as the books world falls apart around you and you have to fight off more of the enemies in the first book. My headcannon for the ending is that Roderick was always Watson, and the H name he remembered in book 1 was Holmes. I think that it achieves Etienne’s mission properly while explaining some earlier parts.
