imo i think rey always knew that her parents had sold her like that. i think she's been repressing the memory for such a long time it just...faded, or became a little twisted. easier to live day to day believing there was something to live for. :/ i DO wonder if that skews the vision she had in maz's castle, though, since we clearly see lil babby rey looking up at the sky after a ship that's taking off.

Yeah, that’s the thing that confused me; the vision. Hmmmm. Maybe that really was how she protected herself as a child, remembering them leaving in a different way. Oh my God.

1. I think I’m pretty funny. I love making people laugh

2. I’m a genuinely nice person. don’t get me wrong, I can get mean and hold grudges and drop some truth bombs but I like to think that I’m a good friend and that I’m really good at providing customer service and making people smile.

3. I like my singing voice!

4. I think I can actually be pretty from time to time when I try but even when I’m plain and no make-up, I like the way I look (I mean at least my face)

5. I’m a good writer. Like any writer I have my moments of doubt and low self-esteem but I have been fortunate enough to receive feedback that suggests that I’m actually not half bad...I hope I can make it as a writer someday DX
