You know how

People make slugcat's aware of the fact they can die and come back next cycle?

Well...what if slugcat's die but don't remember dieing.

Because...time rewinds itself.

Or.

You could go into the cycle being a deeper meaning.

[this doesn't go for all people]

We all are like the slugcats.

We do the same things we always do in an endless loop.

We're stuck in a cycle.

A repeating pattern.

If you want an interesting concept of idea.

Just make your slugcat not remember death.

Time rewound itself.

Concept of a sub-area and a campaign slugcat for a rain world region I'm working on ! (Had to brighten up the image because the original was so dark the details got lost)

This specific sub-area is one of the many Maintenance Storage Points found in a place called The Corpse, which is itself part of the Collapsed Meteorological Superstructure.

This is all for an Iterator oc- might eventually make a map of the main areas !

Also here's another look at The Hoarder, one of the two slugcats found in the region :

It enjoys hoarding and storing random objects in shelters, and carries its findings on its tail

Collapsed Meteorological Superstructure - the Perimeter

Some concepts for the general vibe of the area, where the sky is hidden by layers of heavy clouds from never ending storms (+ unknown slugcat for scale in some of them)

Have some recent concepts while I still work on my comic pages for my ask blog First one is the Pseudo Neural Complex. Part of it may be visited within The Corpse, though the majority of it fell down into The Chasm. Second one is The Perimeter (from the Collapsed Meteorological Superstructure), with a bit of the Perimeter's wall visible (the entirety of the Perimeter is delimited by large walls, marking the limit between the resident iterator's territory and the exterior).

(The Pseudo Neural Complex concept isn't fully accurate as the neuron clusters should be closer to each other, and there should be more of them)

Are any of the rain world area concepts you draw related to your OCs? They all feel like real areas that could be in game!

Oogh hello !! Glad you think they'd fit well in the game ! Yes, all of the concept art I've drawn of areas such as the Collapsed Meteorological Superstructure (Perimeter) or The Corpse are related to my rain world ocs !

They're meant to be regions explored by my two slugcat ocs (the Hoarder and the Luminescent) during their own campaigns

There are also more areas I have in mind ! I just haven't drawn concepts for them yet, though I hope to do so eventually

If you've seen my iterator ocs as well, some areas are heavily linked to them, especially Twenty Long Spears Pierce the Sky

Speaking of him (and the others), I also hope to maybe open an ask blog so I can answer questions about them, have them interact with other characters and also develop more lore about them and the big regions I have in mind
