"Magnus. I want to come along" Alec whispers into his mouth, as if it could make Magnus change his mind. His tongue flicks, brushing against Magnus’ lower lip. He feels his breath shuddering and presses closer to him “You want me to.”
Magnus' chuckle tickles, their breath mixing and dancing together "No can do my darling" Magnus sounds regretful, at least “You know that” the hand the was resting against his deflect rune moves up into his hair.
"It doesn't mean I like it" Alec frowns, knowing full well his husband is right. “I want to be there with you” he can’t help the aching tone in his voice “I want...” his words lost as Magnus’ tongue runs across his lips, slow and firm.
Then he kisses him. It's wonderfully wet, soft and oh so slow. As if Magnus is lingering in the sensation, to properly savor it for the weeks to follow.
"I know, love, me too" Magnus’ nails scrape against his scalp just so “As much as I’d love to stay a little longer” his eyes glint “I must go now” he grips his hair just for a second “Think of me” he tells him, not asking “As I will of you” he seals the promise with one last peck, loosening his grip.
"I will see you soon, Alexander." it’s collected and soft again, and just like that Magnus flicks his fingers and there's a portal, he smiles at him and disappears.
