There's something vaguely romantic about being in denial. ● It's been a 53 weeks since we learned about Jesiah, 10 to 7 months since we 'kinda' accepted our new reality... 'kinda', 6 months since our last minute (should have been canceled but Michey & Lisa wouldn't hear of it) babyshower Anddddddddd 4 months & change since Jesiah was born. ● The crib... just went up... yesterday. And that's only because when @its.mariahxoxo comes to see you, she feeds you and see what needs to be done. Even if you're very consciously trying to stall and come up with every excuse as to why there's no reason for certain things to get done. ● I (Jackie, not Tyler lol he's pretty much always has the hang on to reality) have seriously been in denial since the beginning. This beautiful, chunky, blessed baby boy who laughs when you roll your tongue has very much taken over my life but it's crazy how sometimes I still wake up and I am surprised by this new reality. I was in denial for ALL of my pregnancy that the fact he's here now has fully transitioned into my brain. So yeah, his crib went up yesterday 😂😂😂 ● Not like he's going to sleep in it though but that's another story for another day! ● #RaisingJesiah #BlackFamily #BlackYoungAndBroke #LoveMadeAnOops Lmbo #GodGotUs #ItTakesAVillage #StrengthenedByOurVillage #StillHustlingNoExcuses #OnePublicNYC #AfricanAmericanHaitianBaby #BlackBaby #RaisingABlackBoy #QueenAndKingRaisingAPrince #Vsco (at Brooklyn, New York)
