raixsu: The day had been long as the ravenette walked from the Guild headed in the direction of his room, after having finally been able to escape the amount of paperwork Sting had needed help with. It’d been rather dreary the past few days what with Cana being in the hospital, not even speaking to anyone at all so far even when he came to visit. His oldest son was also currently in a comatose state and really…he’d been just trying to distract himself from everything that kept piling on one after another by doing work around the Guild when he could. Taking care of Felice, Keara, Kaeru and Gil who were now out of their hospitals and back at home which was a relief even though Kaeru kept herself locked away in her room. Really, he didn’t know how much he’d be able to take of this. Everything feeling like it was falling apart again.
Rogue had been lost in thought most of the walk back home, just passing by the people that still remained on the streets up until…A familiar scent drifted to his way, one he had thought would never appear to him again but how? How was it here now. The form of the ravenette suddenly turned around as he looked at the last person that had walked by, the male cloaked completely in black.
Was that him? Could that really be him? After all these years had passed could that really be him. The son who he thought had died those so many years ago.“Aerien!” Rogue called out just that one name as he stood there staring with crimson hues at the mans back.
Ever since the disappearance of the Prince the man had made it a sworn duty of his to find him and bring him home, back to the castle. It wasn’t that he truly cared for the kid, in all honesty due to the background he has with the Royal family, along with the contract assigned by his Guild he truly had no choice, at the moment he seemed like a traitor and that was the last thing he needed. Making it a mission of his own to find the boy was to show his Guild he hadn’t spoiled their long term plan of eradicating the Royal family, starting with the Prince.
His defenses were up quite a bit at this point in time, finding a small stroll down the street to be detrimental towards his life, as he had become a prime target of those very Assassins he had learned the tricks of the trade from, along with fellow trainee’s with the mark of a traitor on his back. The call of his name caused him to pause.
At that moment he wondered if it were a good idea to turn around, and while doing so if it were a better idea to ready himself to block an incoming attack. He’d slowly shift his gaze of his shoulder. “And If I am...?” He’d tread cautiously, as he slowly spun around to face Rogue, his eyes narrowing in the slightest. The man seemed quite familiar, but he couldn’t quite put his finger on it.
